I just finished re-watching "Ship in a Bottle" and I still love it! This is a totally harmless exercise in the 'grey cells" as Hercule Poirot would say. Barclay inadvertantly resurrects the Moriarity character from another episode (no Wrath of Khan here), and then Moriarity proceeds to dupe Data and Picard, until they realize they are being duped! In the end, of course, Picard and Data turn the tables and put the Hologram Moriarity back in storage. As we knew they would...
I went out in the backyard to get in one of my cats, And while calling to him, I notice a large bird in one of my trees. About the size of my smaller cats! It was a hawk! Beautiful bird too! I wonder if he is going to stick around, or just dropped in for a snack on voles? I wish I had my camera. My wife took it to Germany with her.

Yea, the spirit of Elie has gripped me! But it was the response of Gerlyne that prompted me. In a recent article, I noted the epiphany of Lanny Davis. But then I went off on a rant tangent, And in so doing lost the message of the intent of the blog. And try as I might, I could not bring the respondants back on topic. And that was my fault for the tangent. So I want to say to Kingbee, and Davad, sorry. It was not my intent to tar all of you with the brush that ...
In what can only be described as record time, a Jury was enpaneled, and heard the case of the Harvey murders and brought in a conviction in less than 4 days! This while ThatoneguyinSLC still struggles with the case he is the primary witness on: http://thatoneguyinslc.joeuser.com/articleComments.asp?AID=126893 These murders happened 6 weeks later, yet one defendant has been convicted (I am sure there will be numerous appeals, but the barbarity of the act is going to get him death).&nbs...
Lanny Davis, a minion of Clinton (hint for the left, minion is not a derogatory term), finally realized that there is hate, bigotry and racism on the left. It took the primary of Lieberman to bring it out, but he finally saw what the other 75% of the nation has seen all too clearly for far too long. Not only is hate, birgotry, racism not the sole purview of the right, but indeed, the right is repudiating it, and the left is embracing it! Yes, some on the extreme right are aryan na...
The local talking head was on today about racism, and how he hates it and all. I dont like the clown, but I would not exactly call him a racist either. But the reason he was going on and on and on about it today is that he is having some work done to his home. And the contractor he picked came in and started talking about how the "Mexicans" were stealing work from him, and how "them N------ are just so lazy". It was clear from the monologue, that the contractor was about one...

Mason wrote an article where a drunk decided he was some hooker and was bound and determined to break into his room and get him some nookie. And it reminded me of my episode with drunks, hotels, and one that got booted off the State List of recommended ones (I would hope). August 1993. I remember it. I spent exactly 1 day at home. The rest of the time I was traveling the state, or on vacation. I left on August 1st (a Sunday) and headed for far SW Virginia. ...
Yes, this war. And before you jump and say "AHA!", better remember what "this war" is all about. It is not about Iraq or Afghanistan. It is about Terror. Plain and simple. Some people cannot understand the difference between a battle and a war. Which is kind of funny. For if we had confused that 140 years ago, the Confederacy would still exist. They won the battles, just not the war. But this war is looking like Vietnam. How? There are ...
Does anyone else think that maybe we are over reacting some? Ok, the cretins were/are in England. And they did have a nasty plot and England has reacted. As have we. But no liquids on planes? I dont know about you, but last time I flew, we went through the meat grinder and then got into the Emplaning area. And guess what was for sale? Sodas and Water! So you are a $10/hr clerk. How much to let me put some of my "special" water on sale in y...
Thanks to Gideon MacLeish for the inspiration! OK, I will admit it. I never was a car jock! I can change the oil, and thanks to my cousin, tune (basic) a car. But I never was into tweaking and tuning and that stuff. But I am a guy. So somethings come naturally to me. I have drive a stick since I started driving. Never owned an Auto (except with wives), and I know what cars are supposed to sound like. I am "in-tune". Back when I was first married...
Quote from the Mistress of Mayhem: Trudy (and the DoN) have never EVER been blacklisted here But just 7 months ago, she left this snippet on my blog (I saved it turkey!) Delete my reply! Fine join my blacklist! 2 in 2 days! I wonder, should I give her points by reading her slop to actually expose a lie a day? nah! Liars are not worth the effort.
