Yea, the spirit of Elie has gripped me!  But it was the response of Gerlyne that prompted me.

In a recent article, I noted the epiphany of Lanny Davis.  But then I went off on a rant tangent,  And in so doing lost the message of the intent of the blog.  And try as I might, I could not bring the respondants back on topic. And that was my fault for the tangent.

So I want to say to Kingbee, and Davad, sorry.  It was not my intent to tar all of you with the brush that I did since I did not use qualifiers.  And you were right to pick the nits as I do that as well.  I cannot excuse what I do.

Quite simply, I should have left the article stand on its own so that we could have debated it.  But instead I added my own vitriol and did not allow that article to be the focus of the debate.

So I appologize to Davad and kingbee.  And thank thatoneguy for trying to drag me back to the reason of the post.  And Gerlyne for doing so.

We all make heated (and then some not so) mistakes.  Thank you all for commenting. Perhaps at a later time we can actually debate the column by Lanny Davis.  Without the diatribe I injected.

But for Davad, I will tell you again.  I say when I am wrong, and I will admit it.

BTW:  for the unmentioned one, dragging your hate into a fun blog is just plain stupid!  Stick to Politics.  Stay out of the other forums!  Arrgg!
