They got me!  I miss typed and WOW!  Dont miss type Foxnews.com.  I wanted to read about Latour's latest glee and was also buying on line.  I was distracted, so several minutes later, I got that one! If you want some nasty pictures (both I think men and women), go for it!  Guess they will try anything to snare you. Now back to the fall of Canada and my christmas Shopping!

Can anyone point out the error in this factoid from CNS News? U.S. Secretary of State William Seward agreed to purchase Alaska from the Russian government for $7.2 million in 1967 – a purchase later approved by the Senate in the form of a treaty and signed by President Andrew Johnson. But while the purchase theoretically improved U.S. trade access to the Pacific northern rim, America had other, more pressing issues for years to come. If it does not jump out and bite you, you are not ...

That seems like a simple enough question.  I use to think it was open and shut.  Abstinence meant to Abstain.  As in Dont do it.  And while many people have an issue when it is the only form of Birth control taught, very few have a problem with it being taught as A method of Birth control. Well, that is, except if you live in Maryland!  For it seems that Maryland has another view of Abstinence.  They are currently teaching 3 forms of abstinence: No intercour...

A funny thing happened on the way to the protest.  The protested for have asked the protested against to remove a bunch of International Solidarity Movement members!  Why?  Well, according to the story, the people really dont help at all, just grandstand and stir up trouble, and they are ruining the Arab's way of life! Arab leaders in Hevron have contacted the city’s Jewish leaders for help in getting rid of self-proclaimed anarchist volunteers who, they complain, are destroyin...

"France Braces for Rail Strike"--headline, CNN.com, Nov. 20 With all the burned out cars, this means a lot of french will be walking! "Experts: We're in Serious Financial Trouble"--Argus Leader (Sioux Falls, S.D.), Nov. 20 Guess they dont pay experts that much these days. Some have poopooed that concept, others have talked about it.  I am here to say it is real and it is alive!  A community is not a monolithic thing.  We have our Otis', our Andy' and Aunt Bees.  As well as Floyds and Gomers. But we do have people supporting people.  Tex. Loca and Dharma have husbands often gone, in defense of US! We have Greywar, PseudoSoldier, ChipRJ and others serviing us now! We have Mason, Ted, Moderateman, who have served us and we feel ...

Well, for me it is Ted and Mason!  My oldest wanted an Amp.  Bass for you other folks! Like I know an amp from a chimp? Dont think so! But they led me through to a decent and actually great deal! 2/4/6/8 Who DO I Appreciate? Mason and Ted!  Thank you both! After all, that is what today is about (or is that yesterday???)

Here, as in many places I am sure, Stores opened up at 5am! (one actually opened at 11:59pm last night).  And yep!  People were out in droves, lining up and waiting for them to open!  For some super specials that will probably be on special again in a month. Listening to the news, they were interviewing one lady.  She had that real small voice like the lady Cop in Police Academy (my memory escapes me on the character - Hicks I think - or the actress).  They asked her ...

Recently we had someone, in the heat of debate, deride the US Military as a bunch of ignorant in-brreds with less IQ than teeth.  That person pretty much was slammed down by both the left and right citizens of JU. We have a fair number of serving military and Vets here on JU.  SO I would say that JU has a pretty good cross section of the Military.  No one would say that Adrian is Conservative, and others like Greywar are definitely not liberal. Last weekend, my wife and I to...

We have been giving thanks for all we have, and in recent times, we have been treated to some people's version of the "Wrath of God"!  But let me share with you a different perspective.  Not to detract from any of the excellent Thanksgiving messages stated so far!  For they were truly excellent and appreciated by me. Instead I give you some thanks from a relative of mine, for America: The storms [hurricanes] are a problem!  Even now.  Especially in Louisi...

By now most are aware of the John Murtha call for the immediate withdrawal of troops from Iraq.  Murtha actually said (from his own website): http://www.house.gov/apps/list/press/pa12_murtha/statement_051117iraq.html  I believe we must begin discussions for an immediate re-deployment of U.S. forces from Iraq.  So in an accommodating fashion, the House decided to do just that, with resolution number 571: http://www.rules.house.gov/109/text/hres571/109hres571.pdf  ...

That is the ACTUAL headline for the Teacher, Debra Lafave, who pleaded guilty to seducing a 14 year old boy.  THE ACTUAL HEADLINE AND VERDICT! Mason recently wrote an article about the unfairness of a sentence of a hit and run driver. Indeed, they got off relatively scott free.  And Gideon (I think, please forgive me if I mis-attribute) recently wrote about the crime of the fact that some sex offenders get off easy! And this is proof in the pudding!  What?  The Jud...
