Debate, and discuss, just dont Bore me.

We have been giving thanks for all we have, and in recent times, we have been treated to some people's version of the "Wrath of God"!  But let me share with you a different perspective.  Not to detract from any of the excellent Thanksgiving messages stated so far!  For they were truly excellent and appreciated by me.

Instead I give you some thanks from a relative of mine, for America:

The storms [hurricanes] are a problem!  Even now.  Especially in Louisiana.  Over the last 3 years, virtually all the parts of the US that do get hit by them, got a BIG dose.  I think we should all take pause this thanksgiving that all we lost in the last 3 years, with miraculously few exceptions, was convenience and some "stuff".  I know I am.  Katrina was the worst storm to ever hit the US, yet fewer than 1000 died (compared to thousands in years past).  Florida got hit by a bunch, yet almost no one died.  While some are saying that this is God's indication of America's unworthiness, I see this as America's worthiness.  We took the worst and came out the best.  We do need to pray for those who did lose loved ones, and I do intend to.  But I think America came through very well, both from a neighbor standpoint (My neighborhood sure came together!), and from a nation standpoint!

Thank you Yogi, for reminding me what we are thankful for!
