Yes, it is that time again! Test your knowledge of TV theme songs. Not as easy as it looks! At least forme. I got 13 of 15. I should say that the 2 I got wrong, I never watched. But then there was a couple of others I did not watch, just knew as well. At least I did not get 100%.
I got sent this quiz by a friend. It is not as easy as it sounds. Test your skills and see if you are smart enough to graduate (grad-ye-ate as Jethro would say) the fifth grade. For all you trivia players, here is a chance to get a 10!

This poem is another example of a mediocre poem screaming "boring" from a bourgeois writer that has nothing better to do with her golden life than to find minuscule faults to complain about. Her use of the alleged transvestian actions of relatives screams of a homophobia that is not found in the better examples of poetry we see from people making true contributions to the art. Not content to criticize her relatives - her biggest beef seems to be in their haves, not their have nots, she ...
I joined JU about 3 years ago. In that time (most of it), the repubs were the kings. Not good ones either. They did things that I (as a conservative) and others at JU did not like. And we even wrote about the sloth of the power. And America listened. They booted them out. (to be fair, we also wrote about what we liked as well). Now the Democrats (not the democratics - that is a usurption of a term) are in power. And what is different? Well, not ...
Is apparently just a suggestion that is to be ignored when someone does not agree with you. In yet another example of the tolerant left, Karl Rove was pelted with foreign objects (versus the domestic kind) after speaking at American University. Why? Did he threaten anyone? No. Did he assault anyone? No. He gave a speech that was not to the liking of some on the tolerant left. I am sure these were peace protestors as well (for the dense - the last stat...
"I would not live forever, because we should not live forever, because if we were supposed to live forever, then we would live forever, but we cannot live forever, which is why I would not live forever." - Miss Alabama 1994 "The leadership discussed it and agreed that inserting Congress into an international crisis while ongoing would not be helpful," Daly said. (Speaking for Nancy Pelosi) - March 30, 2007 Ms Pelosi is currently traveling in the Middle east and hopes to talk to ...

A week ago, I had an accident. A lady cut across 2 lanes of a 4 lane road (trying to turn left into a parking lot) and I hit her. The police came, looked over the scene and promptly wrote her a ticket for failure to yield right of way. OK no biggee. IN the last 5 years, I have had 6 accidents. The only one I paid for was when I hit the deer. My wife says my car has a bulls eye on it. I believe her. So I called her insurance company, gave them the info...
I just noticed something kind of weird (but not really since we have been fighting this fight for almost a month now). If you comment in the forums, the time stamps goes in as EDT. Well, except for 2 states, all the US is on Daylight savings time. And on most computers, time is set by an offset from an absolute - UTC (Coordinated Universal time). So 3pm EDT is actually the same as 2pm EST. It just looks different. Now when commenting (and I gather posting) from JoeU...

Cathy Seipp, a conservative journalist and blogger, died a week ago after a long battle with Cancer. She left behind a loving daughter, Maia. She was a conservative to the core, and had no problems with her political viewpoints. But someone did. Someone, who decided that she - and her daughter - had slighted him, hounded her not only in her life, but even to her death bed. With a hate and vitriol that defies logic, but is too often seen in the political arena. Wi...
