I hate to say I told you so, but I told you so.  And it is not even a law yet.  I have stated on many blogs as this is really getting old, that to do anything about illegal immigration - without sealing the borders - is stupid.  And I am being proven right. It seems that not only do democrats watch the demonstrations on CNN, but so do many people wanting to get in to the country!  Such that the whole stupid sordid mess instead of solving anything, is just exacerbating the ...

For a second year in a row, I have the ultimate power over what you are going to hear on the radio!  There is nothing you puny mortals can do, as I wield all the power!  Mwuhahahahaha (Hack-coff-hack). Sorry, the power got to me for a second. But yes, for the second year in a row, I am an Arbitron kid!  I get to fill out the survey for a week, and for keeping track of all I listen to I get a whopping $3!!!!! I guess I will do it just so I can plug my favorite shows. ...

When this whole kerfuffle started, congress was working on an immigration bill.  I thought and think it is the cart before the horse, but politicians are not known for their intelligence.  When I say congress, both Republicans and Democrats.  And the only difference was in the nuance of the proposals, not in the substance. Then some DJs got a bright idea, went on the air waves to preach disinformation, and managed to attract some of the Anti-American Groups that could really ca...

"Judge Tosses Lawsuit Over Water Tanks"--headline, Arizona Republic, April 4 Is that part of the new law decathalon? "Scientists Plan Slingshot to the Moon"--headline, vnunet.com, April 4 Must have been a big slingshot. "Jesus Could Have Walked on Ice, Scientist Says"--headline, LiveScience.com, April 4 Skating would have been more practical. "Tattoos, Visible Piercings Could Affect Appearance-Related Job Opportunities"--headline, Echo (University of Tennessee at Chatt...

In another example of Zero Tolerance being proved to be stupid, a young man in Indiana is in danger of getting expelled.  Why?  Because he was honest! The facts are not in debate.  Elliot Voge discovered shortly before arriving at school that he had forgotten a swiss army knife in his jacket pocket.  He went directly to the office and turned it in.  The office is just inside the doors.  He told them of his error.  He did not try to hide it, or plant it on an...

In another example of GIGO, a poor man in Malaysia has been socked for a $218 trillion (that is 12 zeros) phone bill!  Ok, we know that mistakes happen right?  Apparently the phone company is not talking about this, as they dont know if it is fraudulent. Excuse me?  I doubt that all the phone bills since the birth of Alexander Graham Bell dont add up to $218 trillion!  Of course it is a mistake! Geez!  You would expect that a company realizes 2 things.  One, n...

With all do defference to Satan's Advocate, Apple is not about hardware!  They suck at hardware!  They have had some great ideas, but they have all died on the vine! So what is Apple great about?  Geez!  This is a no brainer!  They are great about SOFTWARE. Ok, why do I say this?  First, they had their own platform.  No one could run on it (well, BEOS and LINUX), but that was not GOOD enough!  So they went to Intel!  Who is running on Intel?...

I heard the reviews, and they were pretty much dead on.  The movie is go from the get go.  It is not a story that goes from A to B to C, it is a story that hits you from -1 to B to D to F to P to Q to A then C. I took my son to it today.  My wife and I got off early to take him, and at first it was a hodge podge of disjointed Anectdotes.  Which quickly came together.  While I did not figure out the whole plot before the end scene, I had the major one sorted out (my so...

With Kudos to Adventure Dude who is going through a sort of crises because he is wanted, I bring you my Phobia blog! AD has more hangups than I about giving, but I hope he does decide to.  For while I don't see blood as the Generational marker he does, I share his phobia to needles. Not fear.  Not aversion. Not disdain. Not dislike. Phobia.  Phobias are irrational fears that are not supported by rational thought.  Indeed, that is exactly what they are.  I ha...

Hate him or...

Ok, now you now.  I love Star Trek!  The original, TNG, DS9, Voyager, and Enterprise.  I miss it too, as well as the 10 movies. But watching TNG (I have a stupid chest cold so am taking vicks cough drops and staying away from my co workers), they are on the Second season of TNG.  And I hate Diane Muldaur!  Excuse me Dr. Kate Pulaski!  She is the worst actor/actress on any of the series bar none!  How could they have done such a boner to get her!  I thou...

This one probably should have gone under humor, but hey, if the Sun Times Prints it, it must be news right? Apparently thieves have a new modus operandi.  They are stealing oven doors!  Why you ask?  I am glad you asked that.  Apparently they are fencing them as Flat Screen TVs! "hey Martha, look at this cool picture of Duck a l'orange!". At first detectives did not know why thieves were breaking into unoccupied houses and stealing Oven doors, until one Einstein picked ...
