"Judge Tosses Lawsuit Over Water Tanks"--headline, Arizona Republic, April 4

Is that part of the new law decathalon?

"Scientists Plan Slingshot to the Moon"--headline, vnunet.com, April 4

Must have been a big slingshot.

"Jesus Could Have Walked on Ice, Scientist Says"--headline, LiveScience.com, April 4

Skating would have been more practical.

Visible Pierecings could affect appearance? Who woulda thunk it!

Isn't that taking diversity just a little too far?

"Cameron Diaz Wins Suit Over Topless Photos"--headline, Associated Press, April 5

Guess she needed it to cover up the topless part.

Wile E. Coyote is a scientist now?

Actually there is a new version of him called Tech E. Coyote from the cartoon Lunatics Unleashed.

Tech E. Coyote (also voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson): the team's technician, Tech E. constructs vehicles and conducts surveillance, and also has powers of molecular regeneration that render him nearly immortal, though not invincible. He also has the ability to create magnetic pulses that allow him to levitate metallic objects and scramble electronics. Before the meteor struck Acmetropolis, Tech was a student at the Acme Institute, where his urge to achieve perfection led to numerous screw-ups. Tech E. is a descendant of Wile E. Coyote, and wears a green colored costume. He does not have an English accent, like Wile E. Coyote did (he could talk?).

You know the beauty of the RoadRunner cartoons and the Tom and Jerry ones?  Everyone liked them because there was no talking, and so no dubbing!  In the RoadRunner, just some touch ups of signs.  And then not a lot!

But I do remember the newer road runner where he started talking.  The classics are still best!

In deed they are and I can go pretty classic sometimes. I am a total 80's fan when it comes to music, movies and cartoons. But I have also seen some older ones like the black and white versions of Superman, Heckle and Jeckle, Woody Woodpecker and my all time fav Battle of the Planets (G-Force).

DJ, you are a kid! !

I am hitting 50 this year so that is not an insult, just an observation.

---"Expert Says Hard Liquor Helps Houseplants"---

I heard of talking to your plants and even singing to your plants. Maybe someone might go as far as kissing them. But to give them a HARD LICKING? .. Tell me it isn't so.
