Back in 2002, a hoax was circulated about Blondes becoming extinct. Many of the major news outlets of the day bought it hook, line and sinker. Ok, great April Fools Joke and many had a good laugh at the expense of some red faced journalist who forgot to verify sources. Now, 3 1/2 years later, late to the ball as usual, comes the NY Times with the same story! I guess it is true what they say about blondes. It takes them awhile to get the joke! Or maybe the NY Times i...
We have heard all the diatribes by the international bleeding hearts about how Guantanamo is so terrible and we are violating the prisoners basic humanity by such torturous activities as force feeding them and not allowing them to kill themselves and infidels. Amnesty International has been rife with propaganda on it, as has most of the democrat leadership. Yet no specifics have ever been proved, and most allegations so outrageous as to be the creation of warped and bitter minds. ...
OK, a show of hands. How many have NOT gotten at least one of those Nigerian Money scams? I know I have gotten hundreds of them, and until now, only knew of one person who had fallen for it (although they say there are many who do). That was a legal secretary in Michigan,. Until today. Now I have heard of 2, and this one is a lulu! Not that I think a legal Secretary is stupid, quite the contrary. You dont go into law if you are stupid, period. But thi...
OK, for the disclaimer impaired, this is not about all democrats. Just the stupid ones. Gov. Rod Blagojevich of Illinois has decided that the Nation of Islam, an avowed racist organization, deserves a seat on a hate crimes commission. And in so doing, 5 of the members have resigned in protest. The new member, Claudette Marie Muhammad, has refused to disavow Louis Farrakhan's racists rantings, and so the other members feel the commission is now a farce. As do I. Gov ...
Skimming through the internet, I came across an interesing article by Phillip Longman about what declining birth rates and abortion is doing to a society. But I think that has been hashed over before enough and was not really worthy of an article. However, there was one quote that when I read it, I had to laugh and say "Yes". For it applies not necessarily to America, but to Europe and their current and future problems: At that point, instead of dying of starvation, societi...
Our illustrious (?) governor is at it again. Now, for the second time in his short tenure he is threatening the republican legislature because he did not get his way (the first time, he retracted the threat and said he was just kidding): “When I have that open hand extended and they reject it, I don't think they're going to like the outcome, and I think they'll come to regret it." Yes, our very own Ted Matthews has decided that he is going to make them nasty Wepublicans pay for ...
Here we have demonstrable proof of a terrorist nation trying to smuggle in weapons into the US through Terminals they own, and no one says a word? Why? This is a nation that holds no love to the US, and indeed has rattled a saber at us and others countless times, yet they run Ports (terminals) here in the US! Have you heard any outrage about it? Where is Hillary Clinton and Chuckie Schumer on this issue? Why are they so silent? Could it be that the country tried ...
In the latest news from the other planets, scientist now claim that the next sunspot cycle will be much more intense than normal, and is believed to start in about 2 1/2 years. The next sunspot cycle will be between 30 percent to 50 percent more intense than the last one, scientists said Monday. I wonder how they will blame Bush, the US and Polution for that one.

Several NY funeral homes have been busted lately for allowing organ harvesting by less than scrupulous people. It seems that a "Dr. Mike" managed to convince 17 or more funeral homes to go and take organs, bones and tissues from dead bodies that were later sold to hospitals for patients needing them. None of the dead people had signed Organ Donor cards (altho some stories indicate the accomplices in the funeral home were duped into believing they had). Ok, let us review the facts. Dead Bodie...
In what can only be described as a waste of young minds, the University of Washington's Student senate has decided that Col. Gregory "Pappy Boyington, a CMH winner is not worthy of honor! Student senator Jill Edwards, according to minutes of the student government's meeting last week, said she "didn't believe a member of the Marine Corps was an example of the sort of person UW wanted to produce." I grew up reading of the exploits of Pappy Boyington (I was a huge student of the ...
Yes, enough is enough. We had another walk out. I learned of it belately as I was gone for a dozen days. And this one was by a major one in terms of posts and presense. Ok, it happens. She did it before. But I think those that are trying to turn every statement, every response into a "us vs them" thing are way out of line. It has already spawned other flame wars, that are just plain stupid due to not understanding. And it has spawned other blogs for the same reason. Ok, I have written one of...
