Frank Herbert is a well renowned, and by some, regarded as one of the best Science Fiction Writers of all time.  Unfortunately, he passed away several years ago, so his work was cut short.  But not before penning the Dune Series. In the fourth book in that series, the one critics call his most philisophical book, he penned the following missive as an entry in the Stolen Journals of Lord Leto II: Liberal Bigots are the ones who trouble me the most.  I distrust the extremes....

I dont know who the candidates are going to be in 2008, but I know of one I would vote for in a heart beat.  His name is George Allen, and yes he is my senator. I liked him as governor.  He was a good governor, but then his tenure was not a tough time.  Still, he managed the state well (until recently, we have been blessed with mostly good governors on the last 15 years).  Then he ran against Clinton Jr, err, Chuck Robb.  And beat a sitting senator.  It was long ...

In what can only be described as a satire of putrid hate, the loons on the far left have gone off the deepend again.  As some may know, Dick Cheney took advantage of the elimination of the charity ceiling that congress passed in the wake of Katrina.  Prior to last fall, you were limited to deducting 50% of your income in charitable donations.  But since the ceiling was removed, you could bet the farm and donate as much as you wanted. Dick Cheney did.  he donated 77% o...

In another example of hate and intolerance, a group of students, led by a "Professor" Sally Jacobsen, decided that a registered group of students who support Right to Life, cannot have a display consisting of 400 crosses.  Why? She said she was infuriated by the display, which she saw as intimidating and a "slap in the face" So she and some of her toadies went out in the cover of darkness to practice their version of 'Free Speech' and destroyed it.  Not in the light of day ...

Yes, before a certain person can blame the latest ill on Bush, I decided to expose this new abomination that has as its root, George W. Bush. It seems that the director of Hostel, a totally depraved and disgusting movie (yes I have seen it), Eli Roth, has decided that in addition to world war, Malaria, Dysentery, and the pain of psoriasis, Bush is also responsible for a resurgence in horror films.  Never mind that they have never left us, and the only difference between Hostel and Texas ...

Lately it seems there has been 3 re-occurring themes being played out in society today.  Female teachers having sex with their students, School administrations that use zero brains in enforcing Zero Tolerance rules, and Liberals deciding that Racism is bad, except when they practice it.  This is another example of the latter. While great strides have been made at combating racism in this country over the last 40 years, there seems to be 2 resistant pockets of it remaining.  The...

I hate to say I told you so, but I told you so.  And it is not even a law yet.  I have stated on many blogs as this is really getting old, that to do anything about illegal immigration - without sealing the borders - is stupid.  And I am being proven right. It seems that not only do democrats watch the demonstrations on CNN, but so do many people wanting to get in to the country!  Such that the whole stupid sordid mess instead of solving anything, is just exacerbating the ...

When this whole kerfuffle started, congress was working on an immigration bill.  I thought and think it is the cart before the horse, but politicians are not known for their intelligence.  When I say congress, both Republicans and Democrats.  And the only difference was in the nuance of the proposals, not in the substance. Then some DJs got a bright idea, went on the air waves to preach disinformation, and managed to attract some of the Anti-American Groups that could really ca...

Delegates Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC)  Donna Christian-Christensen (D-VI)  Representatives Maxine Waters (D-CA), Corinne Brown (D-FL) Eddie Bernice Johnson (D-TX) Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) Barbara Lee (D-CA) Juanita Millender-McDonald (D-CA) Julia Carson (D-IN) Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick (D-MI) Stephanie Tubbs Jones (D-OH) Diane Watson (D-CA) Seems only one is being singled out.  Perhaps because of her failure to follow established rules and laws? Hate him or...

Those immortal words by Abraham Lincoln are the start of the full quote: You can fool all of the people some of the time. You can fool some of the people all of the time. But you cannot fool all of the people all of the time. They are as true today as they were 140 years ago.  But the fly in the ointment is that in a democracy (or a Republic), you dont have to fool all of the people all of the time, just some of them all of the time.  And the democrats know how to do that!...

By now, most everyone has heard of the South Dakota Anti-Abortion law.  The most restrictive in the nation, and designed to specifically test Roe V Wade.  And most everyone knows it will end up before the Supreme Court.  But most everyone just may be wrong. For the Pro Abortion forces have decided to mount a novel campaign!  If it fails, I am sure they are going to revert back to their old ways, but for now, they are determined to try to allow the voters of SD to decide on...

It seems that New Orleans likes to waste money.  Your and my money!  While moaning and complaining about not getting enough money to rebuild New Orleans, Mayor Nagin rejected an offer from a Car Crusher to take the 50,000 cars off the streets of New Orleans and PAY the city $100/car! Instead, now, Mayor Nagin is looking at spending $23 million to get rid of the remaining cars (only 25k to 30k remain after insurance companies trashed the others).  So instead of reaping a $5 mill...

I wish I could find that picture of the one dog biting the yap of the other dog, cause this is what this reminds me of! Yep, Hillary has muzzled Bill! Put his pecker in a lock box or something! But he is not allowed out without her permission! This is priceless! "Final say"? Excuse me, I love my wife, but I have my final say! Yea we have fights, but we don’t dictate to each other! I guess it is true what the rumors say. Bill is now peckerless! LOL

In what should be a lesson to all politicians (but sadly is not), a Georgia State Senator snuck in a rider on a bill that honored Jane Fonda.  And the senate, without reading what they were passing, passed it! But one senator finally figured it out, and set up a stink over it.  So much so that the State Senate then took up the issue again, and voted it down this time.  This would be funny if it were not for the fact that the object of the honorarium is such an antithesis to jus...

Over the last few months, we have been regaled about the low poll numbers of Bush, and how that portends a devastating loss by the Republicans come November in the Mid Term Elections.  But a funny little thing happened on the way to the forums.  Somehow the Mainstream Media message failed to reach the Democrats. For you see, 2006 is not a presidential election year, and Bush is not running for any office.  Only 34 Senators and 435 members of the house are running (along with ot...
