For those of you so deprived (i.e. you don't live in Virginia or New Jersey), we have a gubernatorial election today.  Along with the Governor, Lt. Governor, and AG, we also get to elect all the members of the House of Delegates.  As races go, this one is BOOORRRIIIINNNGGGG.  But it is all we got (Side note to Gideon - Sorry, No Libertarian Candidate running or I was going to vote for him/her!). But we will know the results soon enough. And this is not about the race per se, bu...

In what can only be described as the height of double speak and racism, Democrat black leaders say that pulling out the racism (note: not race) card is OK, if you do not believe as they do: Black Democratic leaders in Maryland say that racially tinged attacks against Lt. Gov. Michael S. Steele in his bid for the U.S. Senate are fair because he is a conservative Republican. Does anyone other than me see this as the same excuse that the David Dukes give?  That somehow, now a disti...

Lately we have had some people saying that Rita, Wilma and especially Katrina were wraths of God delivered onto America for sinful ways, even though a reader of the Bible can clearly see that after Noah's flood, God Promised never to use floods again for his justice.  And while not everyone who died from those 3 hurricanes, drowned, a great majority did, and the worst damage was done not by the wind, but by flood waters. But the article linked, and indeed events of this past weekend, ten...

Yesterday, I told Tova7 that while she may not believe all Catholic Doctrine, we would still assimilate her! Today we are one step closer!  For when Samuel Alito is confirmed to the SCOTUS, that will mean a majority of Justices will be Catholics! Yes, for Catholic means Universal, so our BIG Tent is bigger than either the democrats or republicans (and includes both I might add)!  You cannot escape us!  Resistance is futile!  You will become one with the Borg - err, ummm...

Kim Jong Il has decided that women in his country should not be wearing pants!  But instead wear the Hanbok, the traditional Korean dress. This would make for a great humor piece if not for the sad fact that his country is starving as he prances around and creates bogeymen out of thin air to explain away his despotism. Many asked why George Bush did not go into North Korea also if they were a member of the Axis of Evil.  Quite simply, when the despotic leader of a country is rear...

In another demonstration of the people of minorities and compassion, The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has declared that Clarence Thomas is not a "real black man". (I am sure this will take him completely by surprise).  And why is this? a black man, who deserves an asterisk because he arguably does not represent the views of mainstream black America. You see to the left, if a black or Hispanic does not toe their train of thought (an engineless one at that), then they are not "r...

Virginia is pretty cocky about its Unemployment rate, as well it should be.  It is only 3.5%.  But with the largest Military Complex in the nation at one tip, and the Federal Bureaucracy at another tip, Virginia has always enjoyed a low unemployment rate, even when the National Average goes up. But it is not the best in the nation!  Why?  Because Texas Wahine is not doing her part!  Yes, Hawaii is the lowest unemployment rate in the nation!  All because Texas Wah...
