Too Stupid to Breath
Published on May 6, 2010 By Dr Guy In Politics

The level of stupidity on the left in this country continues to amaze me.  The latest incident in their quest to subvert the laws, culture and citizens of the US comes to us from California, where 5 children were sent home from school.  Their crime?  They wore the American flag on outerwear.

That is it!  You can burn the flag, use it to wipe your behind with, stamp on it, spit on it or piss on it.  But in Left America, you cannot wear it.  At least not on a holiday created by an alcohol company!

You see the gotcha here was that they wore it on May 5, or as it is known south of the Border - Cinco de Mayo.  But those south of the border do not even celebrate the day as a holiday!  And contrary to ignorant liberals, it is not their independence day.

For sure it is a memorable day (akin to the US celebrating the Battle of New Orleans in 1814/5). A small band of militia defeated the French Army at the Battle of Puebla (but then who has not beat the French?).

So on this non-day (except for an excuse to drink alcohol - a good lesson to teach high school children, right?), these children were booted out of school for wearing the AMERICAN flag in AMERICA.  Thanks be to all liberal idiots.

I love to hoist a few cervezas now and then.  And I sure do like Corona (although many from south of the border will tell you that is not a good beer).  But I am not going to do it at a school, nor am I going to advocate doing it at a secondary school. But Liberals think you must.  At least to the exclusion of doing anything inflammatory like wearing an American flag.

I would love for the whole world to celebrate July 4th.  It is a special time for the world as America lead the way in creating a new type of government.  One that is prevalent today in most of the world.  And I have no problem celebrating September 16 in honor of my wife and relatives and the struggle they went through mere decades after America to gain their own independence.  It was a noble endeavor on our friends and neighbors to the south.  But I am not going to penalize some one in Mexico for wearing their flag on their shirt on July 4th.

But then I have never been accused of being a liberal.

You've got to commend their efforts (even if you disagree with their policies) that they have done an excellent job of cloaking their intentions from the 1960's on to the present. It's no small feat to have the people you've oppressed or marginalized for generations, support your cause in such high numbers.

And the right wasn't smart enough to see it back then? All of those stoned hippies outsmarted your side.  If the left ruins America, who's to blame for allowing it? Is the right too stupid, incompetent and impotent to stop it?

I'll bite (though I don't enjoy feeding "one-liner" members, that add little or nothing to the conversation). Now, do you mean Republicans should have adopted the left's policy of masking their racism with entitlements and race based programs or that they should have warned people that don't want to open their own eyes? When Democrat leaders (Remember Joe Biden's word's “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American presidential candidate who is articulate and bright and clean-cut and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man,” as opposed to a crack dealer, pimp or what?) practically spill their hearts to you (who could forget Jesse Jackson's comments about Obama "acting like he's white," and "Hymie town" comment, do I need to go on?). Just look to the left to make racial accusations while they are fully engaged in the act themselves.

Next question: It is the responsibility of both parties to preserve the ideals of the Constitution. YOU inserted the word "RUIN" America, not I. Guilty conscience getting to you? Is the right stupid... no we understand fully what the left is doing. The left does have strong media allies and a base that laps up everything they say, take yourself for example. So I'd say it more of a challenge to not go down into their race baiting attempts to sling mud, are not - are too, arguments. The right does have it's faults, keep people down without them knowing it is not one of them. So to conclude, I'll let you count up the number of years each party had control of the Congress, so you can judge for yourself who had the greater influence on policy and laws we live under today.

At the federal or state level?

At the federal or state level?

Congress would be considered the Federal level. If someone can follow politics at the state and local level for all 50 states, they must have too much time on their hands or do it for a living. The House has 435 seats alone, with another 100 in the Senate. That's enough knuckleheads for anyone to keep track of.

on May 08, 2010

Oppressed, not lesser, you ignorant conservative. Your choice of words is telling. Who else is going to help them?

Minorities are oppressed so hard that the president of the USA is a black man... a black man who was born to a muslim father (and later converted to christianity)...

And I assure you, my conservatism is from lack of ignorance. When I was a liberal I was an ignorant child (literally on both counts; children make effective targets for brainwashing). It was learning and an open mind that made me conservative. I am also an atheist and of a minority race. And btw, I see this whole "boohoo we are victims and oppressed" all the time amongst relatives... and they are full of it. It is an excuse for failure.

Don't get me wrong, bigotry exists. I see it from the left all the time. My race is hated and reviled and vilified by the left for being peaceful and successful (mostly for being peaceful). If we only had suicide bombers then they would refer to us as a "religion of peace"

What I find interesting is that people (whether minority or not) who are on welfare don't really see it for what it is.  Yes, I know what and why welfare was designed but the reality is it is not being successful.  It's created quite the opposite of 'fighting against poverty.'  The reality of many of these programs, I would argue they are inflicting more harm than good.

First many of them establish an 'entitlement' mentality.  That others are obligated to 'help' them.  This is also has resulted in a victim mentality.  Yet they are supposed to feel 'empowered' by these programs.  Complete opposite of intention (or is it?).

Secondly, there is no incentive to get OFF these programs.  In fact there is a detrimental effect of getting off these programs.  Instead of receiving monies and so called aid, they would have to do the opposite and actually pay into the system they were receiving from.

Third, as a result of the first two they strip people of their 'human right.'  Yeah that's right it strips them of their G-D given HUMAN RIGHT.  Might be surprising to some people that I say this but I know several of you well enough you'll agree.  As a result of staying on these programs there is no opportunity for achievement.  They are essentially slaves to the system yielding little responsibility for themselves.  They've removed the human right to feel like a man or woman.  No sense of accomplishment when you are constantly being given everything for NOTHING in return.  What a cheap value system.  How can you feel like a man or woman when you are working just enough to stay below the max requirement to receive system benefits?  Never releasing that potential inside.  So many of the people I have met in this category are miserable and rightfully so.  They have essentially lost the soul of mankind.

I am in support of helping people but there must be an incentive of helping people to get on their feet.  If it is a disability case that is completely different case.  I see very little (if any) programs that teach them how to budget, save, develop skills to improve themselves.  Even if they are offered what incentive is there for them to actually try to improve?  Very little imo.

Infidel, I would agree the welfare program does indeed oppress those that I believe it was 'intended' to actually help.  It's been a number of years since the 'war on poverty' began.  If you consider the number of years they have been at it and their results this is significantly worse than any Vietnam because it IS an endless war with the strategy they are using.  They've created a voluntary slavery system and yet they scream the loudest about slavery at the conservatives?

If it is a disability case that is completely different case.

I used to work for a quadreplegic man who could only move his head and his left arm. This enabled him to pilot his wheelchair... and type, using the pinky knuckle of his left hand, which was hooked into a claw. He was recieving government aid--a grant from NASA. When I began working for him, he was working on his dissertation to earn a PhD in electrical engineering. He wasn't some super genius, just a hard worker--he worked construction before his accident, but once he couldn't use his body anymore, he figured he better use his brain. He could type on his computer, which had a track ball instead of a mouse, and being able to do that, he had used government aid to better himself instead of just living off it (for which not one person on earth could have blamed him). When I left (he got a sore on his butt, which means hospitalization for a quadreplegic, and couldn't use me for a whole summer, so I had to get another job), he had a couple of lucrative job offers in different parts of the country that he was considering.

This is why I personally can't buy any stories about who's being held down and who can't do things because of whatever. If a man who can't move can earn a PhD, then as far as I'm concerned, there are no excuses. For anything.

You misunderstand... its not the disabled whom are being discussed, its races.

The idea of the liberals is that able bodied african americans (and a few other specific races) can't get a job because they are black. They could be a super genius with a PHD but society "oppresses" them by not giving them a job not matter how hard they try because everyone knows that every single corporation in america is evil, and run by rich fat old white men who are members of the KKK... so they must resort to welfare / affirmative action / etc.

Yet, not only is this all a load of baloney. Even the disabled are capable of having gainful employment. (as you showed, using their brain rather then their body); much less able bodied individuals who are not WASP

I heard a caller on Rush Limbaugh bring up an excellent question about this today...

Was the school flying the US flag on Cinco de Mayo?  If not, they were in violation of the law.  If so, how do they justify harrassing these kids?

Do not confuse the idiots with the truth.  They are too busy being offended by their ignorance.

I think I'll channel my opinion on this through Cenk and Ana.

I really like his observation of the female student's statement about "their holiday".  He is right. If she is living in this country, it is hers and OUR holiday.  That is the some of the ignorance that the administrators should have been combating, not promoting.

on May 10, 2010

one of said changes was the "flip" where the democrats and republicans somehow swapped their views and composition and all the racists left the party responsible for jim crowley laws and promoting slavery to become republicans, and all the anti slavery pro freedom and equality left the republicans to become democrats...

You only have to throw out the name of Robert Byrd to show them the lies of their revisionist history.

What I meant is that school administration, or teachers overreacting is a common thing from what I have seen, and, it isn't limited to areas that are liberal - it can, and has happened in conservative areas.
~L

That is sadly too true.  The common denominator is not the political make up of the community, but the lack of intelligence of education administrators.

The only way to NOT be a racist is to assume that all non whites are somehow "lesser races" who REQUIRE government instituted discrimination on their behalf to even the odds. Or require "special understanding" of their "completely justified cultural violence" that would never be tolerable if done by a white person.

Excellent observation!  It merits a cookie.

Oh, I do admire their chutzpah.  And marvel at their Svengali like measmerizing of those who think they are being helped.  But admiring something for the sheer brilliance of it does not mean acceptance or approval of it.  Hell, when it comes right down to it, what Lenin did was as brilliant.  And as time goes on, we see about as destructive.

I also question your intelligence and wonder how you breath without having to concentrate on it.

That is what the iPod (and before that the Sony Walkman) was invented for.  So they could play tapes that tell them "breath in....breath out".
