Debate, and discuss, just dont Bore me.
And get up with their Fleas
Published on August 29, 2005 By Dr Guy In Politics

Cindy Sheehan, the voice of the left, has now attacked hundreds if not thousands of additional supporters.  I am sure she is going to welcome them with open arms as it was her racist diatribe that inspired them.  Yep, the fleas of David Duke are now Solidly on Sheehan's side.

"help put up a White Nationalist voice in the protest against Bush's War for Israel that was started by Cindy Sheehan."

It would be funny, but not surprising, if Al Sharpton and these new Nazis ran into each other.  How about Shirley Jackson Lee (Will the Mars Rover see the Flags that the Appolo Crews Planted on Mars?) or Maxine Waters?

Politics do indeed make strange bedfellows.  Who would have thought that white racists would be in bed with black leaders.

OOps!  I forgot about Sheets Byrd.

Cindy Sheehan, the voice of the left,

She speaks NOT for me Doc.

No, but she has become the voice here in America.

It's a shame that David Duke would lower himself like that.

No, It is a shame that the left is so blinded by their hatred that they would accept allies like that.

how desperate can you get? i mean, you'll say anything--regardless of the truth--to smear those who disagree with you.

you did see this part, right?

By not showing up, we let leftists steal our issue!.

We're not going to Crawford to support leftists...we're going to Crawford to oppose leftists!.

what makes this really laffable is the republican southern strategy which helped put reagan and both bushes into office in the first place. you know the one devised by massa strom specificaly to bring white racists into the republican party. the one that keeps sheets trent in office? the one that has yet to be repudiated by the rnc?

What gets me most about the whole "David Duke" thing here is, nationally the Republicans almost universally rejected David Duke... could it be that he and his racism have found a home standing next to Cindy Sheehan and Al Sharpton?

My other question would be... has any cause ever survived the participation of the Rev. Al Sharpton?

I read the whole thing, but you missed the point.  If a conservative had made the racist statements Sheehan had, they would not be rallying around the cretin, they would be running from him.  Yet the left embrace her and her racist statements and her now allies.  You miss the point totally.  I did not call Sharpton et. al. racists, only that there is no one too sleezy for them to embrace in their hatred of the Right and Bush.

next time, read the article.  If you need clarification, ask for it.  Otherwise, dont accuse me of your own side's tactic.  That dog dont hunt.

They embrace Sheets Byrd.  No one is too low for them to embrace if it apppears to further their agenda, right Kingbee?  Get it now kingbee?

Dont know who the MC is, but having lost his leadership position, I would say that was repudiation.  So when did Durbin lose his?  Strange.  Very strange.

Amazing how you folks can take a single stupid comment made in flattery at a man's 100th birthday party and use it to totally negate every good thing he's done, even when his voting record speaks for itself.

It's not only unfair, it's disgusting.

Yet those same people quickly forget that their illustrious leader not only filibustered the Civil Rights legislation, but was actually a card carrying member of the KKK.  And he is one of the leaders of the party of the KKK.  So why would Sharpton not embrace the support of a white supremist group.  He already has embraced one of their leaders.

reasonable people are able to distinguish disapproval of israeli policies--and a call for an end to us policies that enable israeli politicians who advocate them--from neo-nazi race baiting.

considering all the equivocating and hair-splitting in which yall are willing to engage to avoid admitting the truth about rove & liddy you really have a lotta nerve to try and float this kinda outrageous any-means-to-an-end dishonest crap.

even more amazing and disgusting is totally ignoring lott's membership in the conservative citizen's council (remember the ol white citizens' council? they gave it a new name and a new coat of white paint but they still refer to interracial marriage as 'white genocide'). or the articles he wrote for their publication, 'the informer'. or the keynote speech he delivered at their 1992 convention which he concluded by saying: "the people in this room stand for the right principles and the right philosophy."

and it aint as if massuh trent hadn't celebrated strom's principles in the past. according to the nov 3 1980 edition of the jackson-clarion ledger, while speaking at a reagan rally, lott opined: if thurmond had been elected "30 years ago, we wouldn't be in the mess we are today."

lott may run his mouth a bit too much for his own good but at least he was honest enough in 1984 to admit while speaking to the convention of the sons of confederate veterans "the spirit of Jefferson Davis lives in the 1984 Republican Platform."

I am not accusing Sheehan of adopting a neo nazi platform, only that her statements on Israel were pure hatred and fit right in with their own mantra.  Politics makes strange bed fellows, and in this case she has very strange ones.
