Debate, and discuss, just dont Bore me.

One of our fellow bloggers asked the question "Where's the Whining?" in refernce to where was all the whining about the election that had occurred after the 2k, 2k2, and 2k4 elections.  Instead, within a couple of days, most of the close races that had democrats winning, the republicans graciuously conceded without putting up a fight and whining  about life being unfair.  Indeed, the last 2 senate races that got called were eligible for recounts, but neither of the losing senators asked for one.  They conceded.

But lo and behold, that blogger jumped the gun!  For indeed there has been winning and crying and bawling about stolen elections!  Oh, but wait, the blogger was right!  It is not the republicans doing it! Nope, It is the democrats, who cannot even be gracious in winning!  They are now trying to steal a seat that they narrowly lost in Florida!

Vern Buchanan beat Christine Jennings by fewer than 400 votes.  However, it only takes one vote to win, and he got that plus 300 odd.  Yet now they want to steal his seat charging (with no basis in fact or even any evidence) that he stole the election!  Yep, Karl Rove must have masterminded the theft of one house seat out of the 230 odd the democrats won!  That crafty Karl!

Even in victory, the democrats cannot be gracious.  Instead we have one Jerk-Elect being just that to the POTUS, and then a whiny baby in florida that cannot accept the fact that fewer people voted for her than her opponent.  In the latter case, maybe she should listen to herself and her party whine and cry and stamp their feet.  For then they would know why she lost.

One thing America does not like is a sore loser.  But what it detests is a boorish Winner.  And right now those are called democrats.

They whine when they win, they whine when they lose. You have to admit, at least they're consistent.

Well, if there are still questions that are unanswered by the recount...then do it again, and again...until the answers are known.

Or do it again and again until your candidate wins. It was fair! People go into the booth and do not vote for candidates all the time. I do it fairly regularly.

So according to democrats, that must mean I am voting for them. What a bunch of morons.

Fraus can occur, I don't doubt that. But we're to the point of paranoia of saying it happens all the time now...

It worked in 2k, so they figure they are going to keep on trying it until they win. And it is not unprecedented for a democrat controlled house not to seat the winner of an election. They have done it before.

The problem is that 18,000 people in the district appear to have voted in every other race on Nov. 7th, but the Congressional one. This should raise red flags to anyone that there *may* have been a computer malfunction.

It should also raise red flags since the undercounted county is the most republican in the district. It should also raise red flags that the primary was very bitter on the republican side and many were turned off. There is no evidence of any fraud or problems with any of the machines. But the democrats will not accept that. When have they ever?

I said what I felt, with:

Frankly, referencing this particular vote, i don't care who wins...it's not my county, state, precint, etc... what matters to me is how fair, how equal, and how trustworthy the results are, bottom line.

And if you read the article, you would see there are no more questions, just allegations.

I've only been coming to JU for a year or so, but most of what I see in the blogs here is ultra-right-wingers whining about liberals.

Dude, an allegation is still a question. This time, it's the questioning of the integrity of the election.

How about we just agree to disagree, it'll solve a lot of wasted time.

Glad you can see liberals just plain whining then. Learn the difference between reporting on whining and whining.

no dude, an allegation is not a question. It is a statement of fact, and where none exist or any evidence of said fact existing, it is a false allegation. Brad is right. You like to make allegations, but cannot back them up with squat.

Ahhh.... whining about whining is okay, but whining about issues is bad.

Whatever floats your boat. If you want to remain ignorant, I cannot stop you.

I could say the same for you. You are what is known as an authoritarian follower. Anything that comes out of the White House is what you believe and what you'll defend. You, my friend, are anti-American. That is not what it means to be an American. We Americans put our country above our political party. Now, if you wouldn't mind, please move out of our country.
