Debate, and discuss, just dont Bore me.

I guess my blood is getting sweeter cause this time it took them ONE day to call me (I dont think they were open on the 4th when I became eligible).  I guess I am eligible.  After all, the blood my doctor has been sucking down does not count.

But one day after I am eligible?

I am wanted! (actually my wife hates my snoring, but then when I am not.......)

I hate the process, but do it because I can, and my blood type is needed.  I wish more could or would give.  I know many cant.  Since the Aids thing, they are very particular. Just ask Shadesofgrey.  So the pool is getting smaller, Yet the need grows as they do find more ways to find life saving surgeries for those previously relegated to the walking dead.  Some have Hep B and C,  And cannot.

Others have never tried, and I hope they do.

Others are prevented due to recent trips.  I hope they do not give up.

Me?  I will give next week.  If I dont, I will never hear the end of it!

Noble?  hardly.  Just one who can and does.  SO I dont get calls every day.

To paraphrase a commericial (American one for our Foreign friends)

"What is in your veins?"

Yeah it's always good to donate. We get the bloodmobiles at the truckstops fairly often and I usually give if I can spend the time.

I give as often as I can. Sure, I feel a little weak afterwards, but I always feel like I'm doing what I need to do when I can donate of myself in any way. It's just another way that I can serve others, and all I have to do is sit down and then drink the juice afterwards!

I wish I could give blood,  I'm not to allowed for 3 reasons: surgery I"ve had,  my heart, and the sarcoid in the liver.

Those that do give,  like you two guys,  are blessings to us that need it and can't even provide our own blood!!

Thank you and all the other blood donors,  you're a special breed.

With a rolling address, at least they are not chasing you with a needle!

Us 3. We got the liberal to donate as well!

And yes, it is for you and those that really need it,  We may never meet you, we may never see you.  But one day, we may be you,  And be thankful that others are out there to be there for us.

In Florida I would get the call all the time. In Washington, no calls, but I still give.

I wonder if Washington has fewer accidents?  After all, they shipped all their retirees to florida.

I haven't given in a while and was actually thinking about it recently when I saw a truck in a parking lot but was too busy to stop. Thanks for reminding me that I should do this. My blood type is one that should be needed too being an ABpositive, which not too many black people have that type my doctor told me.

I give every 8 weeks but I've got turned down the last two time because of my blood pressure

I give about every 3 months.. or close to that... the local Corpseman just tells me I'm able to give again so I do. I don't have one of those rare blood types, but just one of the really really common ones that they always seem to be able to use more of.

Thanks to all you others who give also.

our posts were coming out at the same time so I missed San's post. Probably should just say "all" instead of using numbers.
