But still the one flaw

I really did!  This one is slick!  Official looking and all.  My ACCOUNT is DISABLED!  LOL!  But they made one glaring error.  The link in the message is at the bottom of the article.  mouse over it, you do not have to click it.  And you will see the error.

Oh, they made one other glaring error.  They used my wrong email account!  But it is slick!  Best scam I have seen in many months!

I've gotten a few similar ones lately myself, and actually am having a lunch time presentation at work in a few days to remind the people I work with to watch out very carefully for this stuff.

Actually the one that I got was even better and more professional looking than the one you got, though they made a typographical error in the subject line (just barely).

The scammers keep trying to make things more difficult for us, that's for sure.

They are getting good!  I will hand them that.  But I hope that, at least here at JU, everyone knows that Paypal does not email you with this stuff.

But it is a keeper!  For my collection.

Ok, yes!  I collect weird things!

Oh, I only use a credit card! Not a bank account. That way, I can tell them no go on the authorization. Paypal scares me as well.

"Dear National Australia Bank Customer....."

....and I think "Oh, my....do I have an account I never new existed....in a bank I have never been into?  Gosh...I must dash off and send them my particulars....."

I've been getting these for a few weeks also. I have noticed that the actual link address is different on each of them. I've fowarded them all to spoof@paypal.com Email

Yea, that is error number one.  Guess I just do not do enough paypal to warrant a first edition of this one!

Only kept the printed version, it's going to be an exhibit for a lunch time reminder to the users at my day job to be very careful of what they respond to (e-mail wise).

We've had a rash of phishing attempts in the work e-mail system (both employer and the people that pay the employer for my time). This was one of the better attempts (the one I mentioned). I also have seen the one you got above at least twice lately.

The worst one at work lately is one for a financial institution that many employees do business with. Apparently as many as 10 people in one area fell for that one, though they've been reminded dozens of times to be careful (some people are just way too gullible!)
