Debate, and discuss, just dont Bore me.

Sorry, no link as it is Fox news Radio.  But I am going "say what?".  What a stupid statement!  We are already there!  And it is not summer!  Where do they get these analysts?  From Sears?

Seriously, what moron is not predicting it?  Excuse me?  Have you noticed that Gas has shot up about 50 cents a gallon over the last 3 months?

Why do we have talking heads instead of investigative reporters?

Therein lies the problem. it's all fine and dandy to want to decrease car usage, but this isn't Europe. Most of Europe was designed for walking. Most of America was designed for driving. It just doesn't work any other way except for in large urban centers.

ANd yet something must be done.  Alternative fuels will not be viable as long as 'filling up' is not painful to all of us.  This is not Europe.  But it is not 1970 America either.

As harsh as this may seem, what else is going to drive down demand?

I agree that we MUST do something. What, I'm not sure. But I don't think that Ethanol is going to be the savior many are expecting it to be. But - what, then? Any ideas from y'all out there in cyberspace? Or should we keep bashing everybody?

I understand that. But understanding doesn't feed my family.

I really feel for you, Gid. I hope that rising gas prices don't cost you your job, for you and your family's sake. You'll have my prayers, for what that's worth.
