Debate, and discuss, just dont Bore me.

Sorry, no link as it is Fox news Radio.  But I am going "say what?".  What a stupid statement!  We are already there!  And it is not summer!  Where do they get these analysts?  From Sears?

Seriously, what moron is not predicting it?  Excuse me?  Have you noticed that Gas has shot up about 50 cents a gallon over the last 3 months?

Why do we have talking heads instead of investigative reporters?

price gouging?

People yell price gouging, but in reality what it is, is a classic example of the law of supply and demand.  Without rationing, there is no other way to allocate a scarce commodity among everyone who wants it.  The consumers, by not cutting back demand, are bidding the price up.

First, if you have not noticed, the GOP controls congress.

You blew it right there.  They do not control the senate such that they can pass any bill they want.  It is common knowledge demonstrable even, that the democrats torpedoed the Energy Bill.  They did not have a majority, but they had enough for a filibuster.

And every president before Bush has has such a great run of things, having absolutely splendid energy proposals. I think the current state of affairs is not just one man's problem, no matter how much you want to blame him, Col.

You would have thought that an Energy policy would be the top priority of every president since the 70s and the Arab Oil Embargo.  Sadly, as long as the gas is available on demand, it is not a hot button issue with the voters so that the Politicians just dont care about it.

I will give you that....but whatever it happens to be, I still think we, the consumers, are getting screwed.

Actually, I have it from a good source that you can buy them at CostCo - five for ten dollars.

Not Sam's Club?

I took care of the triple post.  I think I have the record for multiple posts.  I got up to 24 once (it was posting as I was typing).

DR Guy - Had the Bush energy bill included the necessary elements to SOLVE the energy issue and not just hand money to the big energy companies, it would have had the support of Congress both the House and Senate.

I have admitted that presidents and Congress for the past 30 plus years have not done enough to provide for our energy needs. Bush and Cheney came into office with this so called Oil Executive experience. Bush has done less then other presidents to provide a REAL solution. All he wanted to do is drill in Alaska and hand money to the oil companies!

I would like to see gas hit 4 bucks.
Yeah it hurts but let drive peopel to try new things and THINK!

Thanks for cleaning that up. Man, talk about amateur . . .

Not Sam's Club?

I hear at Sam's they have a similar brand to "Analyst" called "Industry Expert", but they're more like three for ten. If you don't have a membership, you can still get them at Wal-Mart, too, but it's more like five bucks each. A bit pricier, and I don't know if Fox can afford "Industry Experts".

Just a question, Colonel - are you going to continue to spout rhetoric or are you going to offer some sort of solution?

It is not like Bush has not tried to pass one, but the chicken littles in congress killed them.'

What do you mean "torpedoed." Clearly it's not that common of knowledge--seeing as how I work on Energy issues in DC and didn't realize that the dems blocked the Energy Bill. I was pretty sure the President signed it into law in August.

I wrote an article last year about that very thing.  No one is going to do anything about Gas, until it is too painful to "Fill er up".

  Does Target carry them?

Parts of the original plan were killed in congress, so that the ending result was a bunch of pap.

Go to www.saveusanow.com as see what I have done. Yes I have offered solutions.

WE have no effective energy policy after 5 1/2 years into the Bush administration. Another failure!

Yeah, because Clinton was SO effective in creating an energy policy in EIGHT years!

C'mon, guys, has any president actually given a damn about energy issues? As long as the barrels keep rolling in, the government will keep NOT caring . . .

Okay. At least you have done something. I stand corrected. But I still think that you're a bit "skew", as they say in South Africa.

Does Target carry them?

Archer Farms may make a knock-off brand, and they've probably given it a cooler name to spice it up, like "former industry insider", but it's all the same difference.

You do pay for that fancy name, though . . .
