Yep, back in the original colony of the 13, the first settled one (permanently Bluedev!), we got a wild west shoot out at the general Assembly!

A little background.  Our 'legislature' only meets for 60 or 45 days (60 in even years, 45 in odd ones).  Today, one of the most respected (oldest?) members accidental fired a gun in the hallowed halls!

It was not illegal, it was not intentional!  But it made for the best news to come out of the chamber (almost literally) this session!  His gun went off and struck his bullet proof vest (a gift as a joke no less).

No harm no foul, and no crime!  But a great wake me up for the staid followers of the powdered wig of the oldest continuous legislative body in America!

And actually the only real news to come out of the chamber since they met!

Laugh!  Not a bad start (semi) to the whole farce!
