Debate, and discuss, just dont Bore me.

Here I am running from crises to crises on my job!  And where do I get my news from?  JU?  Hell no!  From a local jerk of a talk show host!

Yes, an investigation ended today.  Before reading further, guess which one?  let me give you a hint:

'What We Were Prevented From Investigating.'"

Let me give you another hint.  What did Harry Waxman, John Kerry and Byron Dorgan try to get suppressed?

Give up?  OK, I will wait. Dumdeedumdeedum dumdeedumdeedumdumdum.

OK, times up!

The Investigation, after 10 long years and many wasted dollars was the investigation into Henry Cisneros's income tax dodge!  The man himself was convicted in 1999, but according to the independent council, it was a study in how to obstruct an investigation!  And that is the telling part!

OK, Scooter Libby got indicted.  OK, Bill Clinton did as well.  In fact half the Clinton cabinet was, but I digress.  Why did they obstruct this one?  Anyone?

Sorry CG, it is not Bush's fault.  Anyone else? Hmmm......

Let's play Romper Room!  Now let us put our thinking caps on.  Why would the Clinton administration stymie this one, and not all the others.

{scratches chin}

Times up!  Yea Doc Miler!  You got it!

because of the 800 files that mysteriously somehow got let in the white house!  Shades of J Edgar Hoover!

It has long been rumored that the Clinton white house used the IRS as a gestapo against its enemies (Just ask Billy Dale).  But of course it was just that.  Rumors.  And it still is.  However, why hide something that does not need to be hidden, unless!  You are hiding something else!

Speculation?  Sure!  But it will come out in time.  When the Clinton's are pushing up daisies!  But you heard it here first!  Before Bush spied on Al Qaeda without a court order (that is legal for you slow readers), Clinton did it on domestics!  And he did not only use the NSA, he used the IRS!  And that we must never know!

But we will in time.  The FOIA will bring it out.  But due to executive privilege, it will be in another 50 years.

So all you yahoos that are salivating about the non scandals of the republicans.  Digest this!

Barrett said he is disappointed, but not surprised, at the developments. At least 146 motions have been filed by lawyers connected to the individuals cited in the 474-page report, delaying its release.

Charles Manson should have had those lawyers!  His case would still be pending!

What investigations are still on-going?

1. Plame-gate
2. Abramoff-gate
3. NSA-gate

Sorry Guy, I couldn't resist! ::

I should think you would be outraged that $22mil was squandered on an investigation of a guy who lied about money given to his mistress. Now that's "gestapo" modus operandi.

Not a problem.  Let us hope they do not take 10 years?

And you have the democrats to blame for the squandering.  They would not let him finish, and then tried to supress his findings.  Direct your anger at the ones who made sure the money was squandered.

And this one, like Clinton's own contempt of court and Whitewater, brought meaty convictions.

Then you should go look and see who authorized the investigation in the first place. I think you'll find that it was democrats!

First of all, I cannot stand when media over-simplifies every scandal by arbitrarily slapping the suffix "-gate" onto it. It was a hotel. The Watergate Hotel. It's down by the Kennedy Center, very near to the center of DC. None of the above scandals come close in scope or consequences as Watergate.

Second of all, yes those are ongoing investigations. So what? Lawyers from each side are doing their best to stymie investigations all the time. There are many resolved and unresolved investigations. This one, the Cisneros tax investigation, was drawn out for years, even after the guy was in jail! That's the crime here: full disclosure is not forthcoming. I am all about truth in politics.

Has anyone noticed that "no one" has said anything more about this since the beginning of October? But according to the left they had him "dead to rights"! I said it then and I'll say it now...."they got squat"! There was NO outing and THEY know it!

I am of strong mind that nobody in the Bush Admin would out an undercover operative, regardless of party affiliation. I believe that because GWB's cabinet members are known to puts strong value on the CIA's covert abilities and those operatives willing to put themselves in harms way regardless of the political party in office.

What is easy to believe is a radical liberal outing an operative for a variety of self-serving political reasons.

They are also the ones that stymied it and would not let it end.

I think Bush set the tone his first day in office when he said he was not going to investigate the Marc Rich pardon.  If the democrats would have believed him (as he has not lied about letting the Clinton scandals go), this one would have ended years ago as well.  But they figured if they would lie about something like that, then Bush would too.

I agree.  And no one is going to be indicted for it.  They caught scooter in a lie.  But not for the outing.

Like the latest 2 black operations that the press yelled "Freedom of the Press" and outed.  Altho I think the rendition one died real fast, which indicates there was no there there.
