Anthony G. Brown is running for Lt. Governor of Maryland, where only liberals can be racist (Because Michael Steele is not a Democrat). But I digress.  The Baltimore Sun describes his ancestry as follows:

And he chose a partner who reflects some of the diversity of Maryland. Brown is the product of the marriage between a Cuban father raised in Jamaica and a Swiss mother.

Well, no one can claim that Brown is not from a diverse background!  He is more international than Theresa Heinz and her Ketchup varieties!  But then One of his backers goes on to say the following:

"It does not hurt that he is an African-American," Cummings [sic - Rep. Elijah E. Cummings] said. "African-Americans in the Democratic Party want to see somebody on that level representing them, coming from that community."

OK, First Question.  Why can democrats not be proud of Republicans who have made it and are the same race?  Michael Steele is the FIRST Black Lt. Governor in Maryland.

Second Question:  Which of the following country(ies) are in Africa: Cuba, Jamaica, Switzerland?

I guess I will never understand what how politically correct people think.  I guess I am just too logical for their way of thinking.
