Debate, and discuss, just dont Bore me.

There is an old joke that if God came down tomorrow and said he was going to end the world, the Mainstream media would run a headline "World to End Tomorrow - Women Adversely Affected".  Well, that may not be a mainstream media headline, but that joke is coming true!

In what has got to be one of the looniest positions yet advanced about Global Warming, the UN is now discussing how Men are more responsible for global warming, but women suffer more!  You heard that right!  Women apparently are bearing the brunt of global warming according to German based Genanet-Focal point gender, Environment, Sustainability.  According to these fruit loops:

"At least in the developing countries, it is women who are more affected because they are more vulnerable, so they don't have access to money to go outside the country or go somewhere else to earn money and they have to care for their families,"

So it seems that they are saying that when Global Warming happens, the men can run away, but the women have to stay?  And the UN is listening to this garbage?  I guess they missed the latest reports that say global warming is throwing Europe into a new Ice Age.  So where are the men going to run to?

I do believe there is an honest debate going on about Global warming.  I think there is also a lot of finger pointing and histrionics involved.  Now it is just getting stupid!  As far as I can tell, women and men take heat and cold about the same.  There are exceptions, but I dont see my wife in a Bikini in the middle of winter!  Or in a parka in the middle of summer!

But these wacko Feminine Supremacists apparently do.

AHA! I knew it was ALL the men's fault!

~sticks out tongue~

Half on-topic, I also noted the media's headline, when reporting that the conspiracy charge against Tom DeLay had been thrown out: "Charges against DeLay Upheld".

They never give up.

Nah!  We want an ice age - for obvious reasons.

They got it half right.

What a bunch of loons! You know though, it does show us the state of women around the world, not good! "They don't have access to money and they're not allowed to travel.." says a whole darn lot!

Two weeks ago, the news pundits were reporting global warming has come to pass with a vengeance. Now we are recording record lows for early December, and no retraction has yet been made.

I guess these schlubs don't understand how weather can run in cycles even within a single season!

That is why I called them Supremacists.  I think Gideon coined the term, and I like it.  They really dont care about equality, but for domination.

We just had a snowstorm, which for us is very unusual this time of year.  And tomorrow we are getting another one!  I guess Global Warming is ushering in another ice age!   It sure is icy here!

We've got two big winter storm fronts headed our way; one is to start tomorrow afernoon sometime, and hit full force on Friday. The other should hit right after that one clears out, on Saturday or Sunday. I can't wait for Global Warming to hit; I hate to shovel snow.

See, what you have to understand about the looney left is that, when everything is a crisis, it tends to numb people over time. So, you have to find ways to make your individual causes and crises work together. Global Warming affects women more than men....see?
They're not only getting in a shot for the environmental whackos, but also for the Feminazis, and, at the same time, they're making backhanded a crack at the expense of us oppressive, porcine males. Three in one.
A Hat Trick!

I read an article some time ago where they said that the Clean Air Act was actually contriubuting to Global Warming because it removed from the air much of the particles of pollution that were blocking the sun's rays.
This is allowing more and more of the sun's energy to come in and heat us up, rather than being deflected off into space. Remember about 30 years ago, when these same whack jobs said the opposite? That the pollution blocking the sun, and was going to cause another Ice Age? Incredibly asinine.

And the article targeted the Clean Air Act....you know...making sure we got the message that it was AMERICA that was causing it, and nobody else.

uh, sorry RW.  The latest is that global warming is going to cause another ice age!  And the record lows from Montana to Illinois seems to prove them right.

You know...you have to laugh at these kinds of people, because if you didn't you'd go crazy listening to them.

Problem is......they're not funny.

This country and its society and culture is seriously FUBAR because of them, and it's getting worse.

But, regardless, you can't help but laugh at them.

I was reading that article in this week's TIME Magazine. 'Is Europe Due For a Big Chill?'
Here's their newest stretch of logic regarding the impending doom that is global warming...
Even in the dead of winter, long stretches of subzero temperatures are pretty rare in London. It may come as a surprise, therefore, to learn that the capital of Britain lies nearly 400 miles farther north than Montreal--or that Paris is farther from the equator than Fargo, N.D. The relatively balmy climate of much of Western Europe suggests that many countries in that region should lie well south of where they actually are, and that's all thanks to the Gulf Stream, a gigantic river of tropical water that flows up and across the Atlantic, warming the waters that lap figuratively against Europe's western shores. Turn it off, and the region's temperatures could plunge disastrously.
[Scientists are] trying to understand why temperatures in Greenland had plunged dramatically several times over the past 70,000 years. [Their] theory: fresh water, perhaps from melting glaciers, might have diluted the ocean's salinity, making it harder for cooling water to sink and return southward to pick up more heat. That could shut off the entire "conveyor belt" of water that keeps Europe temperate. It's hard to determine precisely what would have caused such a big thaw 70,000 years back, but we do know that today global warming is causing more meltwater to stream into the North Atlantic from glaciers and older sea ice, which is lower in salt. Could the conveyor belt stop again?
Climate experts are not sure--and some have serious reservations about the new paper--mostly because the observed change is happening too fast. Computer models predict that it should take at least 100 years to weaken the ocean conveyor belt.
(Bold added for emphasis.)

My goodness, it's happening so fast that we can't accurately predict our own disaster! Will we melt or freeze? Who can say?!?!

No one can say. Good grief. Get a grip, people.
All I know is it's friggin' cold outside, colder than last year... oh my gosh! Oh wait, it's because I just moved from Texas to Maryland.
