Debate, and discuss, just dont Bore me.

Old Howlin Howie is at it again.  And this time, while he is 'supporting the troops', he is saying they are failures.  Dont you love how the democrat leadership supports the troops? "We support our troops, but we think you are a bunch of failures."

This time, Howard "foot in mouth" Dean is saying that the Iraqis are like the south Vietnamese, forgetting that the south faced a formidable foe in North Vietnam.  Forgetting that the only opposition in Iraq is a bunch of cowardly terrorist who will not fight soldiers, just blow up defenseless women and children.

No, Howard the mouth has decided:

"The idea that we are going to win this war is an idea that unfortunately is just plain wrong,"

Forget that the war has already been won.  Only loony loopy Luddite liberals argue that.  It is the peace that we are trying to win, and succeeding as well!  No, to Howard, what the American and Allied Troops have done is nothing.  And instead of supporting the Iraqis, many way past tired of the terrorists and their cowardly acts, instead of supporting the mission, no, he has to slam them in order to get at Bush.

That is bad enough in itself.  The worst part is the rest of the democrat leadership has disintegrated as well! Karen Finley, one of his mouthpieces tries to spin his statement, and just winds up sounding like a blithering fool!

"We can only win if the Iraqi people are able to play a greater role in peacekeeping, and we can only win if the president gives an honest assessment of what's really happening on the ground in Iraq,"

No, Karen!  That is not what he said!  He clearly said:

"Of course, the South Vietnamese couldn't manage to support their own country. I do not believe in making the same mistake twice. And America appears to have made the same mistake twice."

He was not talking about handing over more responsibility to the Iraqis!  He was saying they are incapable of running their own country!  When you try to spin a statement, at least have the decency to not have the opposition use a direct quote, in context, to show you for the liar you are!

Dean strikes again!  When are the democrats going to fire that joke of a person?  They are only making themselves and their party look stupider by the day!

Note to the easily offended.  Not all liberals are loony loopy luddites.  If you want to know what qualifies as one, go to DU.org.

I heard this quote on the news this morning, and just sat back laughing for a few minutes.

I even got my roommate to admit that Dean was a terrible leader for the DNC, and he's quite heavily Democratic,(wears a blue wrist-band that says "Think Blue")having in the past defended Dean's statements and positions.

I think I know why Dean was made chairman, though. Bush got a lot of press for statements that came out wrong or sounded dumb. Clearly this made the Democrats jealous, because it's not fair for one group to have something that the other doesn't, so they put someone in a high position to do the same.

That has got to be the best rube goldbergian explanation I have ever heard!

You might want to apply for Karen Finley's job. You are much better at it!

That is honest! That is excellently put.

You'd never get it. Your logic is too clarifying for a position in the public arena.
(Notice I didn't say which side - neither side wants clarity. "We demand rigidly defined areas of doubt and uncertainty!")

Ve-d-d y interesting analysis.

When are the democrats going to fire that joke of a person? They are only making themselves and their party look stupider by the day! Actually, Dean is an essential gadfly for the country and for a lethargic party that needs to get their hackles up.

Not as good as DL's! But good in its own merit.

It's normal for the left to say they support someone while actively working on their downfall. They have been saying they support poor people in America too, but everything the left does to "support" them only digs the pit deeper.

"Support" to the far left just means, "quite whining about our failures and vote for us!"

I wish I could give you 2 insightfuls as the 2 statements are both insightful!
