Such would Harru Reid and the democrat leadership have us believe.  Reid is even calling for the resignation of Karl Rove for what reason?  Because he is innocent.  Good move Horrible Harry.

But through all the doom and gloom, the Sheehan non-press conference and pretend die down, comes the news that consumer spending shot up in September, and income shot up even more!  Spending was up .5% while income was up 1.7%!  Most of that increase, of course came from the EVIL insurance companies as they paid off claims for 2 hurricanes.  Curses!  They wanted to bury that money in a vault in the ground!

Inflation took a nasty turn as it was up .9%, but for anyone driving a car, that is a big DUH!  Without the increased cost of energy and food, inflation was a mere .2%.  Watch for that to fall BIG TIME in October.

Has anyone else noticed that Gas Prices, at $3/gallon just weeks ago, is now back down to pre-Katrina levels?  Sure was nice to fill up for less than $25 the other day!

So while the democrat leadership is chasing red herrings, America is going about the business of having a good time, making money, and spending it.

In other words people, nothing to see here.  Just move along.
