Air America tried an End Run - Sowwy!

The scandal over the Air America loan has been aired before. And it was rotten. So rotten, that even Al "I cant think straight" Franken decried the former owner of the network.

But now comes some revelations from a former top executive of Air America, David Goodfriend:

When news of the loan first became public in July, Air America initially insisted that it was a debt incurred by previous owners and that its new owners, Piquant LLC, had no obligation to repay the loan.

So the 'noble' Air America was trying to stiff the Gloria Wise Boys and Girls clubs! What a bunch of weasels. After their little shenanigans were revealed, they backed off of their underhanded trick. But while Evan Cohen may have been the original "crook" (Al Franken's word), it appears that the sleeze did not leave with him!

And they want us to think that Delay is corrupt? Delay is a saint in comparison to that bunch of sleeze balls.

Just goes to show ;
A. Air America is an ineffective, money devouring, crooked organization
B. The MSM has buried this story, ' cause it's the first time I've heard about this scandal
C. The scandal will evetually be twisted to fault Pres Bush

if it was fox that tried to stiff a boys and girls club it would have been headline news.. above the fold and yes all bushes fault.

Twisted? No, Bush just created the atmosphere of Greed. How can the poor, irresponsible liberals at AA even hope to avoid that kind of pressure?

gotta pay more attention yall. nothing's changed since the last time (i think it was in june) the issue was discussed in ju. check aa's website. what they said was even though they didn't believe they were responsible, they were gonna reimburse the boys & girl's club.

The aspect that they were going to welsh on it was not discussed (as far as I can remember). When I heard the story there was just an issue of when the loan was to be repaid. Not if. This tell all guy says they were talking about a BIG if.

You still bring that up, and still have not offered any proof.
