Who is lying
Published on September 29, 2005 By Dr Guy In Politics

Ah, we have the harbringer of doom, the naysayer of American Servicemen and Women around the world (including her son since she calls Service men and women War Mongers), apparently has a disagreement with Senator John McCain:

Sheehan said Tuesday that McCain told her then that her son's death was "like his buddies in Vietnam" and that he feared their deaths were "for nothing." McCain, however, denied he made such a statement.

Well, someone is lying.  But who?  A deranged woman or a politician?  You make the call.

I'd trust McCain before I'd trust Sheehan. She's obviously developing material for an upcoming book deal and namedropping a respected war vet like McCain is good material. Wonder if she'll throw Bob Dole's name into the mix before she's done.

I don't really see McCain as a politician, although I suppose I should. I respect his service more than I can possibly put into words. Because of that, I view him as a person of character.

I also see him as a true moderate and someone who carefully weighs what's set before him. And he's got cute little chipmunk cheeks.

I'd vote for him in a heartbeat. And I'm inclined to believe him over Cindy Sheehan.

I think he said something "similar" or perhaps in three or four sentences and Shehan heard what she wanted to hear.

He may have said something about what the US got in return for the lives lost in Vietnam was not worth the price.

As I have said before. Context is important.

Interesting!  I had not thought of the Book deal.  That puts a new spin (no pun intended) to the question.

2 for McCain!  You are going to make a good republican yet!

So is that a half point to each?  You are a diplomat, right?

Bite your tongue. Hehe.

I despise both parties equally.

Ditto, although, this for me is not even an issue of McCain, I'd believe Lucifer before Sheehan.

Miss Cindy also praises the bacteria that put that RPG round in her son's lap as "freedom fighters" and called for our troops to get out of occupied New Orleans...

I have my differences with Senator McCain, but they are purely political. I have a lot of respect for the man... while the best I can say about Miss Cindy is I HAD respect for her loss and her sacrifice... until she spat on both.

until she spat on both.

She does seem to have a way of doing that.

Obviously they are both can not be trusted. One for the fact that he is a politician(slimy and nontrustworthy.) and the other who has gone psycho. Therefore they are both lying. How that is possible? >.> I don't know. Figure it out.
