The left accuses the right of being homophobes.  But who uese the homophobe card?  Well, lets see what the left is saying:

  1. He didn't get married until he was 40. That's really late. Now, he's a devout Catholic, so you know he didn't have sex before he got married (at least not heterosexual sex).

  2. He married a (female) partner at a major law firm. My wife is on the cusp of partnerhood and I never see her. I don't think that my parents had sex after my dad made partner (don't try to tell me otherwise). You think that they have sex?

  3. He has kids, therefore he must have had sex with a woman? Nope. They're adopted.

  4. Possibly most damning: He played Peppermint Patty in his school play. That's totally gay. And cross-dressing.

And this is just on John Roberts!  But what about one of their own?  David Souter perhaps?  Ah, but he was nominated by a conservative!  And here are the spurrilous allegations!

"This is a man who has never been married, never had children," noted one widely quoted observer, a prominent lawyer who, reported R.W. Apple Jr. in the New York Times, "asked not to be identified because he practices from time to time before the Court." . . . This statement was quoted and alluded to so often that Souter soon became pegged as the Curious Bachelor from New England.

So who is playing the homophobe card?  All these statements were made by the left against 2 justices.  the one they missed was Thomas who they accused of being the "long dong silver".  A reference to the myth that blacks are well endowed.

So who uses these cards?  And who does the ACT UP and others support?  Seems that ACT UP are the latest uncle Toms to the liberal wing.  They are just too stupid to realize it.

At least SHE did not go homophobe:

NPR's Nina Totenberg, Skinner notes, called Souter "at best, very weird."

If that's all the evidence it takes to condemn someone of being gay then half the software developers in the world could be accused of being the same thing..

A shame that those who PRETEND to support them are the ones accusing others of it.  WHy?  If it is not a problem that one is gay, why bother trying to dig up information to prove they are gay?

And why is the left so bigoted?

Senate Democratic memo revealed that Judiciary Committee Democrats targeted Miguel Estrada's judicial nomination for defeat because "he is Latino."

Actually the "Long Dong Silver" thing was in reference to a porn star Thomas allegedly asked an aide about. It was during the whole pubic hair on the Coke thing.

They don't see it as homophobic. Since they believe that there is nothing wrong with being gay, they in turn believe it is okay to jab people who they BELIEVE to have problems with homosexuality being gay.

I think what they miss is the language they use is just as embarassing and hurtful as any homophobe's.

And that is their achilees heel.  For they cannot see their own homophobia and racism.  They will never ackowledge it, but it is blatant.

No different than their portrayal of minorities as people who need their financial support to survive, when many escape this myth and become what many Liberals pretend they cannot be. They blame the "system", while Conservatives grant everyone the benefit of the doubt.

That is their racism, and I am saving that for another article.
