Just plain stupid

"They say we didn't win the election last time because of moral values. The opposite is true," said Dean

Check me if I am wrong, but the democrats lost, right? It was in all the papers too. So now Dean is trying to rewrite history and say the democrats won in 04?

And he is leader of a major political party? Makes you question the intelligence of their entire leadership.

Well if he means opposite in the first part then he is saying the democrats won the last election. But if he is saying the last part is the opposite then isn't he saying the democrats didn't win because of immoral values.

But maybe instead of the above statement he really meant to say this, the opposite: We didn't say they did lose the election last time because of immoral values.
