I wish him well
Published on June 28, 2005 By Dr Guy In Current Events

I have stated before that I have been very lucky to have had some great bosses in my career.  And one of the best has moved on, and is now thinking semi retirement.

Bill Bosher was Superintendent of Public Instruction when I worked at the Va. Dept of Education.  And man could that man talk!  A very nice man, who backed up words with deeds!

When I left there, it was under friendly circumstances.  But unlike some bosses I have known (current one in this group), instead of showing me the door when I turned in my notice, he wrote me a glowing letter of recommendation! (unasked for!).  I have it framed and hanging in my house now (That is my only entry on my ego wall, the rest I never botherd to frame or hang).

He left DOE several years ago and took over a Local School division, and then onto VCU.  Now he is stepping down from there.  I wish him well.  He has earned his rest!

Have a great semi-retirement Bill!

Aaah, some people are just outrageously nice! It's good you've got to meet this one as your boss in a given time of your life.
