In what has to be one of the stupidest rules yet to come out of academia (burnt out teachers = school administrators), Oregon has banned hugging in schools!

We are not talking predatory hugging, or even teacher to student hugging.  But just plain "I love you" or "I care about you" hugging!

Public displays of affection are against the rules at Sky View Middle School in Bend, and 14-year-old Cazz Altomare found that out the hard way.

She got detention earlier this year after hugging her boyfriend in the hallway as he headed to lunch and she went to gym class.

Well, now Johnny not only cant read, or pray in school, he (or she) cant even hug!  This is so stupid as to defy credulity!  Yet there it is and there are the school Administrators (see above) defending it.

Egads!  Do you realize that by banning hugging they have reduced Teen pregnancy and saved the world from ourselves!  What kind and generous administrators these school clowns are!

We are now saved!  Throw away the WMDs, guns and bullets!  Oregon has found a way to make the world a safer place!
