I have been clobbered at times for calling some people Luddites.  And one blogger was actually kind of enough to post the dictionary definition.

But the linked story is a better description of a luddite.  Here are a bunch of nuts that are after the FCC for allowing Cell phone towers and radio towers to be built because they 'confuse' birds!

Birds!  Gideon Macleish wrote an article that said that the 6 billion people on this planet are not over population, and in that I agree.  But did you know that there are over 2.5 billion birds in the US alone? Who cares if some get confused and crash into towers.

Luddites do.  They say that man is causing their deaths!  No Duh dipwads!  Everything man does causes the deaths of animals!  Itis because as we expand, we crowd them out.  Not completely, as I dont think a few wind towers and other sorts are going to cause any birds to become extinct.

But the death of any birds to these luddites is one too many.  No, but perhaps People are too many.  I can think of some Luddites that might be able to prove Darwin's theory of survival of the fittest if they would just follow their own warped advice.

Idiots.  They want us in bear skins (nope!  Cant kill bears) and caves (what about the bat displacement?).
