Then again, it might not.  The quote is:

"I also plead with my colleagues to move judges with alacrity -- vote them up or down.  But this delay makes a mockery of the Constitution, makes a mockery of the fact that we are here working, and makes a mockery of the lives of very sincere people who have put themselves forward to be judges and then they hang out there in limbo."

Would it help if I told you it was made in 2000?  That this person is a Senator?

Give up? It is Chuckie "Filibuster me?" Schumer!

Now he argues that the filibustering of Judicial nominations is a time honored Senate tradition, even tho it has never been used in the past.  He also tries to dupe the dupable by stating it is part of the Constitution.

Excuse me Mr. hypocrit, but "the Constitution's Advice and Consent clause clearly states that a simple majority of Senators can confirm nominees, and a Supreme Court decision in 1892 upheld that interpretation."

Guess he is competing with Barbara Boxer now.  Darwin award anyone?

Should someone remind the good Senator that he was given his job by a simple majority? Is he implying that his job isn't that important? ;~D

If we did that, how would we know what hypocrisy means?

No, just practicing Liberal rule #2: What ever I said yesterday cannot be used against me today.
