I got a couple:

State tax

state gasoline tax

property tax

This next one is only applicable in a few states:
burrough tax ( I'm not sure but I can only think of 2 states that do this. PA and VA.) I think it's a commonwealth thing.

A hundred years ago, I wonder what would have happened to the city or county government bureaucrat who pushed the property tax to the point that it became 1/3 of your house payment?

We should have a charity tax. Charities could be doing more for the state and not be as selfish, helping people who really need it
