In response to a blog on why Clinton was a hero to some of the younger generation, I posted some of Clinton's sexcapades. (To the credit of the blogger she has been a very nice person willing to learn, and not to flame).

Anyone left of gengis Khan knows that while many many women have alledged improper sexual advances, or rape against Clinton, he has never been convicted.  And I never contended that.  I was just trying to show that Clinton was and is no saint.  And while there is no conviction, there are too many 'fires' to ignore the smoke.

So what happened?  The left went nutso!  Boy did they come out with claws a flying!  They were not only in total denial, they were resorting to all manner of illogic (some that had been rational before) that it defied credulity!

Why?  The allegations are a matter of public record!  I was not making them up. I never offered proof that they occurred as the only 'proof' is the word of the offended women versus the word of a convicted liar.

So you have to ask why?  Why the vitriol, hate and denial on the left?

Why?  because deep down inside, they know it to be true, and it stings for their beloved hero to be shown to be an emperor with no clothes.

I am not trying to make the left hate Clinton.  I dont feel like banging my head into a brick wall just to prove it is brick.  I was merely pointing out to someone too young to remember why many of us have total disgust for him.  Hey!  Some of us even think he had some good moments as president!  But not as a leader of our great nation.

Love him, or hate him, or in my case just hold him in the contempt he deserves (I Know katherine Willey and I would believe her in a NY minute before him any day!).  But if you want to refute the allegations against him, dont shoot the messenger.  get the horse to take it to court to prove it wrong.

I would not advocate that for someone who is accused by one or 2.  But 20 alledged?  another dozen rumored?  Too much fire to deny where the smoke is coming from.
