Any wonder they are called Whackos?
Published on January 12, 2005 By Dr Guy In Current Events

Well, it was bound to happen.  Some Enviromental Whackos are now proclaiming what a good thing the Tsunami was!

Yes people, Mother nature has reclaimed its own coasts to the tune of 200,000+ dead and dying!  But that is a good thing!  Just read what Greg Ferrando has to say:

[<B>"This whole area was littered with commercialism," said the 43-year-old from Maui, Hawaii. "There were hundreds of beach chairs out here. I prefer the sand." </B>

Ah, isnt that so sweet!  Thousands died so he can feel the sand underneath his feet!  What a humanitarian!  What a Guy!

Making the loony loopy luddites of the left look like class a fools and a$$e$ is not even hard any more.  Like Shooting dead fish in a barrell!

For all the intelligent liberals (or in Australia, socialists I guess), it would behoove you to shut these people up, or confine them to a camp for the permanently disabled.  They are branding all of you as a bunch of kooks.

2) 'They are branding all of you as a bunch of kooks.'
I am doubtless what you would lazily term a 'Lefty', Dr. Guy, but I fail to see how this Greg Ferrando speaks any more for me than he does for you. The essence of your post appears to be that there's one particular individual out there with a very peculiar take on the tsunami. And that's it. Wow!

One of many.  But I did not have time to link to all the rest of the articles and proclamations.  If labeling someone who is liberal as a lefty is lazy, so be it.  But I dare say that you will not get very far without seeing that throughout the political spectrum.  That is how they are labeled by default.  IN and of itself, it is not bad.  Remeber, just because enviro whackos are lefties, does not mean all lefties are enviro whackos.  You do know logic, do you not?

3) 'loony loopy luddites of the left'
You must of course spray your invective, Dr. Guy, but do try and make it a little relevant. 'Loony' and 'loopy' I'll grant you, weary old chestnuts though they may be in respect of the Left, but 'Luddite'? Just what aspect of new technology do you perceive to be under attack here? Chairs, maybe? Anyone would assume you'd added it merely to augment your ailing attempt at alliteration.

New Technology?  Why everything past grass huts and horse and buggies.  They want to roll back technology and erradicate it completely so we can live in pristine squalor like our caveman dwelling ancestors did.  Dont beleive me?  Read "Earth in the Balance" by none other than Al Gore.

BTW, if you read my blogs you will clearly see that A, I am not spraying invective, and B, I have not equated all Liberals/lefties with these loons.  Me thinks he doth protest too much.

Dr. Guy: 'I will ignore your obvious ignorance this time.' Oh, the irony.

Do you even know what the word 'ignorance' means, "Dr." Guy? It has to do with being ignorant, ignoring, etc. Americans earn their reputation for ignorance every day...

Only among the ignorant.

I was replying to the claim in your original post that this Greg Ferrando was somehow both representative of and speaking for the Left. I didn't realise I was supposed to be drawing upon an implicit and unstated underlying reading list before I responded. What exactly is the link between a book by Al Gore and a soundbite from a solitary 43 year old Hawaiian of peculiar opinion?

Anyway, my apologies, Dr. Guy, but maybe I'm just not privy to the same voices that inform you on such matters.

My Apologies to you Furry.  I thought I made it clear that this was not mainstream left, but unless they repudiated it, they would be branded with it.  I do not beleive that most left are that way, however since it is part of the left espousing it, you are in danger of being branded with it (Hello?  Jerry Falwell anyone?).

You can be privy to any of the voices I am.  It is called conventional Wisdom, and is not found on CNN, CBS, NBC, ABC, MSNBC, Newsweek, or Time.

it is found in listening to the average joe American (you know those peasants that are so stupid as to be morons?).

But you Listen to your voices! Fine by me!

"Some Enviromental Whackos are now proclaiming what a good thing the Tsunami was!"

Ok, so in the first paragraph, "some Environmental Whackos" are saying the tsunami was a good thing.

"Making the loony loopy luddites of the left look like class a fools and a$$e$ is not even hard any more. Like Shooting dead fish in a barrell!"

Hmm, by the fifth paragraph, all the Leftists think that the tsunami was a good thing. Is it just me that missed that progression?

If I were to leave a final thought for you, it would be this: Take a chill pill. This is one idiot and his misguided rambling. Perhaps you should set aside your eagerness for smearing those who disagree with you long enough to realize that sometimes a moron is just a moron.

Then read all my blogs.  The LLL left is not all of the left.  Itis the extreme.  if you read all of them, you would know.  But I will say, dont assume.  I mean what I say, and I say what I mean.  And most know that the LLL left is not all the left, just a bunch of jerks and their brain dumb followers.

This is one idiot and his misguided rambling. Perhaps you should set aside your eagerness for smearing those who disagree with you long enough to realize that sometimes a moron is just a moron

Granted.  And so you disavow him? Good.  But do so vociferously!  Otherwise, others will think this is you.

Note I did take a chill pill, and this was more of a warning to the left, than a rant of some loony Loopy luddites.  Distant yourself, or be 'birds of a feather flock together'.

Surely that's their problem?

hehe. Nice point. I agree, too. Personally I don't give a shit if some half-brained moron dismisses me as a rabid environment supremacist. It's their loss, not mine.

But when mainstream America thinks you are, you lose elections.  best to tell Mikey Moore to shut his pie hole.  He, like Ferrando, is the right's best weapons when it comes to votes.

You seem to make a lot of assumptions about people sans any evidence or facts; feel free to ignore me also, please. Please ignore me.
on Jan 14, 2005
In fact, you are real good at labeling. Maybe you can get a job at Dyno.
on Jan 14, 2005
There is no word on "left" in that article.

Maybe you saw the words "nature" and "revert" and somehow inserted a word "left" somewhere in that article?

Typical for any extremest. Note, I did not say left or right, just an extremest, I had to add this since you somehow saw lleft in that article, I don't want you to "see" left or right word in my article, unless it's exactly what I said.
