Debate, and discuss, just dont Bore me.

Heard any conservatives calling a woman a "pig" lately?  I have not, but perhaps Cletus R. Jones of Frog Level did.  Have you heard any liberals doing it?  You have?  you must have been listening to the Keith Olbermann show!  Where he not only insinuates Michele Bachmann is a pig, but also then derisively mocks Greta van Sustern's speech patterns.  Only a liberal could get away with such misogyny and hatred and still be broadcasting.  But then he is on algore's network where the only taboo subject is liberal incompetence and hate.

Things are going sooooo wrong for the lefties lately, Doc...and they hate anyone who doesn't fit their mold...and women especially should not have the audacity to be conservative.

They are just intolerant period.  They are like Rain Man - they know but do not know what they know not.  And of course what they do not know is far greater than what they know.

Surely "Current" viewership is even lower than MSNBC. Seems pretty irrelevant. If anything it more clearly exposes the channel for what it is... a tool of the left.

on Jul 11, 2011

I, too, have noticed that those on the left seem especially hateful toward conservative women. But then, they often seem hateful toward anyone who would dare disagree with them.

The only viewers of MSNBC are the rabid faithful. The laugh is they think it is a counter weight to Fox, which is Fair and Balanced - in its news.  While MSNBC is simply a soros mouthpiece.  Their viewership will not really rise or fall from where it is.  As long as there is stupid, they will have an audience.

I probably should start a running blog of the threats, false allegations, innuendos, and other statements made by the left that degrades, threatens, or otherwise seeks to do harm to anyone that disagrees with them.  The examples are so rampant it is simply not practical to do a blog on each as it would be so repetitive and mind numbing.

Another prime example of the misogyny of liberals.  A gutter snipe talks about who he would like to fornicate with.

I can agree with that but...

Fox, which is Fair and Balanced - in its news.

Man I have to ROFL. Are you serious? I can get more reliable news from Bazooka Joe comics.

All American MSM is biased, agenda driven, corporate mouthpiece joke.

Uh, uh.  Read AGAIN what I said.  I was very specific.  I do not comment on their commentators.  That is editorial discretion. However, the NEWS is very unbiased.  I have a standing challenge for anyone to show me how their NEWS is biased.  There is a reason it is #1.  And that is because they do not shy away from the ugly on either side, and people figured that out.

you must have been listening to the Keith Olbermann show!

Keith Theodore Olbermann is an American political commentator and writer. He is the host of Countdown with Keith Olbermann on Current TV,

So fox is good because you do not comment on the commentators but MSNBC is bad because you do comment on the commentators? Commentators on both sides should be ignored just like those idiot cult leaders that brainwash the brain dead.

Shepard Smith looks like he might actually be a good reporter from what I can find.

So who is a reporter at Fox that does not do commentary. If they report and comment, are they reporting or commenting. They really like to blur that line. Once I find out who is or is not a reporter at "Fox News" I will see if I can answer that challenge. Can you point me to where an MSNBC "NEWS" report is biased or other main stream liberal "NEWS" bias?

I find it all pretty crappy so until recently I couldn't care which news was liberal or conservative.

Megyn Kelly currently anchors "America Live," (1-3 p.m. ET), a daytime news program on Fox News Channel (FNC), which launched in February of 2010. She previously co-anchored "America's Newsroom" with Bill Hemmer (9-11 a.m. ET)

Olbermann is just a hate monger that if laws were applied equally to all people, would be in prison for life.  But he is not even on MSNBC, so your objection is moot.  Again, I am talking NEWS, not commentary.  I said the NEWS on MSNBC is extremely biased.  It may surprise you to know that both Glenn Beck and Michael Savage use to be commentators on MSNBC.  Frankly, I do not care who they hire as commentators, I just want honest news.  And that you will not find on MSNBC.  CNN is better than MSNBC, but still solidly on the left.  The only reason that people think Fox is right is because it is the right most, and about as dead center as you can get in reporting news - ALL the news, not just the DNC talking points.

myfist0

Saul Alinskey for one.  Google will also tell you that both they and CNN were very late to the John Edwards story (among others). Would you believe the network - itself?  Even one of the network presidents admitted it.

As for your last link - would you trust a source that is supposed to be a 501c, yet has a stated goal of the destruction of Fox?  Please, at least get a better source.

Who the hell is that? Links

Sorry, I am not going looking for your info or sources

Dr Guy
network - itself

?? More commentator crackpots. I ask for bias in "NEWS" not the wacko coffee table club.

Dr Guy
Even one of the network presidents admitted it.

Did you read the source of that, ya thats right, FOX news. Where does it state the pres admits it.

Sources: Jonathan Passantino, Fox News, February 25th, 2009

ROFL

Both those links you supplied are not news, They are commentary so your sources are moot unless you want me to go into Fox's commentaries as well.

Dr Guy

They do list the sources of there claim. Not hard to check. I did. They even supply links

No comment on the bias reporting in that video? Again I will state that they are both (MSNBC & FOX) piles of shit and I dont stair at any crap. Both have there mud slinging babies and people eat that crap up like icecream.

I will give you the not on MSNBC but it's not moot because he is still a commentator that you do not want to discuss about Fox.

on Jul 14, 2011

Sorry, my links do not work very well.  here is one for the president of MSNBC: http://www.debatepolicy.com/showthread.php?8865-MSNBC-President-Admits-Networks-Liberal-Bias

As for the rest, you can google as easily as I can.  I provided you with some links to get you started (so you would know it was not a wild goose chase).  You may not like Fox.  I think they are not totally open in their reporting either.  But they are more open than CNN or MSNBC, and so I go to them first.  I find many more stories on Fox than I have ever found on CNN (forget MSNBC - if it is not good for a liberal, they do not have it).

on Jul 14, 2011

Well, I am not to much on using forums as sources but they did link to the source.
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/11/06/business/media/06msnb.html?_r=1&oref=slogin&pagewanted=print

But that is not a transcript of what was stated, rather a couple quotes that can be completely taken out of context. Here is what I think the statement you are making came from in the link above.

Having a prime-time lineup that tilts ever more demonstrably to the left could be risky for General Electric, MSNBC’s parent company, which is subject to legislation and regulation far afield of the cable landscape. Officials at MSNBC emphasize that they never set out to create a liberal version of Fox News.

“It happened naturally,” Phil Griffin, a senior vice president of NBC News who is the executive in charge of MSNBC, said Friday, referring specifically to the channel’s passion and point of view from 7 to 10 p.m. “There isn’t a dogma we’re putting through. There is a ‘Go for it.’”

Innocent enough but notice how there is no context and only a couple quoted lines. Watch how I can do the same with quotes from you (just an exercise and not pointed at you).

Also notice the 2 separated paragraphs which means they can lead you to think that the 1st bold point leads directly to the other but when challenged on it could say no thats a new paragraph, the story points have changed. If the 1st bold line was directly linked to the 2nd bold quote there would not be a new paragraph.

Fox Supporter turns Against Fox

In an interview with a Fox News supporter DrGuy on Thursday, who did a complete turn around bashing Fox News stating "I just want honest news" and "I think they are not totally open in their reporting" refering to Fox News reporting. Then when asked about there incompetent commentating there was no comment.

As yo can see I can take totally innocent comments you did make and really turn this story on its head which is why anyone now with half a brain will not be interviewed unless it is live and unedited.

I agree MSNBC is pretty crappy. As I already stated and I hope Fox pulls through this which hunt. The more you look at the way ALL these news organizations are run the more you have to laugh or cry. They are all meant to manipulate you and it's totally legal.

DRGuy,

I'm late getting in the discussion and may have missed it entirely had not my 23 year old son asked me what "misogynist" means.

Just between you and me, on Liberalism Dr. Arthur M. Hippler is one of my favorite writers and he penned that Lucifer was the first liberal... And we know how much he hated Eve!

Liberals Really are Misogynists
It's true and we see this fact becoming more and more evident every day.

MasonM posts:
I, too, have noticed that those on the left seem especially hateful toward conservative women.

Me too. Strong, traditionally-minded, conservative women scare Liberals.  Last night Dick Morris was on O"Reilly's show and he brought this point up.

Only a liberal could get away with such misogyny and hatred and still be broadcasting.

The MSM is liberal's lapdog.

If it were but one reference, I would agree with you.  However it is but one reference in a long line of references.  I am sure you are familiar with the old saying of "fool me once".  How many times do you want to be made the fool of before you just start calling the duck a duck?
