The title quote is provided by an astute writer on Stardock forums. And of course he is correct (I assume a "he", but do not know the person outside of his writings). And it is pertinent. As one sore head on the site has gone around committing libel. He accused me of stalking him, and thus justified his Big Brother attitude of his banning me from commenting on his posts.
The problem is he is a liar and guilty of libel. The truth (easily ascertained by any reader who cares to peruse his blog, or the Stardock Admins) is I have never posted on his blog! Nor do I stalk him. Both are simply libelous lies. And the further truth is that he is afraid of dissent and disagreement and that is why he blacklisted me and others. I know this to be true as one of the people he blacklisted cannot possibly stalk him either. He rarely posts as he is usually on the road.
But the problem with this person goes deeper than just an insecurity with his beliefs. He is liberal, a fact he does not deny (even a broken clock is honest twice a day). And so cannot defend his positions (talking points are not meant to be used in debates), so instead of debating, he blacklists.
I have not read his blog yet, nor do I care to (especially when I found out his one and only debating point - blacklisting), but this person seems to think that he can commit libel with impunity - and then condemn the site admins for not being "fair" to him! I have not had a problem with the site admins because I follow the rules. And part of those rules are not to libel other members. but this person seems to think that those rules only apply to the "Little People". In other words, those not as blessed with a natural disdain for the truth as liberals like him.
I feel kind of sorry for this person. He is definitely a fish out of his own pond. his pond being du.org where libel, bigotry, hate and physical threats are not only allowed but encouraged! As long as YOU are liberal and your TARGET is not. They regularly ban and delete anything that does not conform to liberal talking points - so they do not have to debate them or defend them.
Just like the Libelous guy over here. Who strangely does not even know how to spell his own initials.
