Of Courses! It's Swamp Time!
Published on August 3, 2010 By Dr Guy In Politics

We had a red letter day on August 2, 2010.  But not one that many will celebrate as the damage done to people, and this country is not something that will be celebrated by true Americans.

First up, we do have a celebration.  The Commonwealth of Virginia just locked arms with the State of Arizona in standing up for its citizens.  Something the federal government refuses to do, and indeed as will be shown, has decided that the rights of citizens are secondary to the new world order.  The Commonwealth AG, a man affectionately known as "the Cooch", Ken Cuccinelli, issued a legal opinion (they do that from time to time) that yes, Virginia, Police officers have the right - and duty - to check on the immigration status of anyone arrested for a crime.  No, Virginia did not pass a new law.  He based his ruling on existing law.

A little too late however for Sister Denise Mosier

Now I am sure some out there are celebrating her death and the critical wounding of 2 of her fellow sisters as they are hate mongers after all (Catholic Nuns).  But for many law abiding LEGAL citizens of the Commonwealth, it is a travesty and underscores the malfeasance and incompetence of the worst administration on this nation in the last 100 years.  For the perpetrator was no ordinary felon.  He was a twice convicted drunk driver, who had already been arrested by County Police and turned over to ICE for deportation as an illegal immigrant.  They let him drive away pending their finishing of their coffee break.  So not satisfied with just going for a drunken joy ride, he decided to add to his total of mayhem and "law abiding" activities (do not believe me?  just ask Eric Holder and his parrots!) by killing.  Alas, for the anti-Constitutionalist among us, he did not use a gun! (But I am sure if we had banned them, he could not have killed, right?)  He used a car.

Here the cricket's chirping?  That is the sound of the Anti-Constitutionalist demanding that all cars be banned because they kill.  Of course the car was on autopilot and driving itself.  People do not kill people, objects of derision do.

Which brings us to our final entry of the day - the theme song of the anti-constituionalist, Hy-Poc-Risy! Let's all do the college cheer for the latest denizen of the swamp, Maxine (Swamp) Waters!  Yes, our lovely toady of the left is outraged!  Outraged that the House of Pelosi Swamp Creatures would DARE to enforce the rules of the body that she felt a need to stand in the well of the cess pool and condemn a fellow member of a mere 15 years ago.  Outraged!  And why?  Because she sold her influence to the highest bidder.  But her motives were pure! (If her ill gotten booty was not).

So what have we learned today?  This administration cannot stand the rule of law, loves felons and can't seem to obey the law.  I guess that is why they love felons.  You know, birds of a feather and all.

I guess we have found the true constituency of the democrat party.  Felons (they did elect Franken after all).  The only thing dirtier than a convicted felon is a party celebrated, sitting democrat.

Hear the crickets chirping?  That is the liberals denying any of this.  They are all at the party of Rangel celebrating what he almost got away with (and may yet).

I'm very pleased Virginia is going ahead with the ruling. I also hope Sister Denise Mosier did not die in vain. They need to fry that three-time criminal (who happens to be an illegal alien). Let the Mexican El Presidente claim his body on the steps of the state capitol building, since the federal government has nothing but applause and support for his pro-criminal actions.

It is not clear if he is Mexican.  However, if we were to send him to Mexico, and he is NOT a Mexican, then the charge of "cruel and unusual punishment: would be warranted since Mexico has a very well deserved reputation of maiming and killing illegals in their country.

Saw the news piece on the DUI driver and immediately thought that the clowns that have been protesting the AZ law and the members of the administration and others that have sued to put it on hold should look themselves in the mirror and spend a long time considering the blood that is really on their hands.  That driver had no business still being in this country, and absolutely no business ever having a drivers license, much less having had one that was suspended and/or revoked.  He should never have been here to begin with, but then once discovered here he should have been sent back to his homeland on the slowest boat possible to the farthest point possible away from whatever tunnel or hole in the fence let him get here to begin with.

Absolutely horrible tragedy.

Yay for VA.  I love VA and now I have just another reason to love it.

Some in Florida are looking at joining AZ also as the next state to crack down on the illegals.  That's going to be quite a fight I'm sure.  Everywhere I look I see Mexicans.

I doubt they think of it.  You have to be a special kind of cold hearted bastard to begin with to pull the crap they are on this issue.

But that is a good way of calling them to task for their actions.

Yes, you do have a large attachment (VMI, Liberty) to Virginia,  We do somethings right.

BTW:  Are you on the east or west coast of Florida?  I ask because I am trying to figure out how far Ft. Lauderdale is from Vero Beach.

That is the worst piece of bigot shit I've read on this website.

You should live among the bigoted shit of being a Catholic in the lower 48.  I was not kidding.  There are some out there that think exactly that due to the Church's opposition to both abortion and Homosexuals.

I'm not bothered if the murderer was Swedish, I'd still send him to Calderón. He was the foreigner standing on the steps of our government, telling us what we should/shouldn't do about illegal immigration.

Sounds like DG qualified his statement as an assessment based on other events, and not any particular group. I'd be interested to hear yours in support of your defense of of these types, since that "is the worst piece" of bigotry you've heard on this site. .

neither really..I'm equally central.  I can go to both sides pretty much in the same time frame.  We joke that we can go to the east coast and watch the sunrise and then go to the west coast and watch the sunset in the same day.  I don't think we're anywhere near either you mentioned tho.

About a 100 miles north of Lauderdale... which is itself barely north of Miami.

on Aug 03, 2010

which is itself barely north of Miami.

and I'm at least 4 hours from Miami.  Have never been there yet and by the sounds of the news not so sure I want to go.

Good point.  Perhaps if Calderon had to deal with the problem instead of demagoging it, he may have a better understanding of why he just pissed off 70% of Americans.  Not a very good way to treat your neighbor.

I get an image of the last Pirates of the Caribbean Movie when they were trying to capsize the ship!
