Debate, and discuss, just dont Bore me.
Published on July 22, 2010 By Dr Guy In Politics

For years, liberal bloggers, bereft of any substantive arguments, have tried to use a source to show others that their thinking was wrong, and that their sources were bogus.  That source was Media Matters.  A supposed unbiased watchdog of the Media that would tell us when someone was lying, obfuscating or distorting.  They swore by their new found god to discredit the arguments they could not debate.

And for good reason did these liberal bloggers love Media Matters.  For media Matters was their kissing cousin.  Another failed propaganda source that had integrity as its last ideal.  Whose only purpose was to attack the messengers and not the message.  For they had no real facts or purpose other than propaganda.  But they hid it well, especially from the lock step robots sent out daily from the liberal caucuses to stem the tide of damage that the truth did to liberal causes.

But no more.  For media matters has been shown to not only be a partisan hack group, but an active participant in the destruction of the first amendment.  Freedom of Speech and Press (they can go for a trifecta based on their attack on assembly given their animosity towards the Tea Party).

It is a shame in some ways.  For while it was easy to best a liberal in a debate when they started spouting a media matter PR lie (just by going back to the source), many will have to shun them now.  Knowing that source is as reliable as a politician's campaign promise.

Media Matters no longer matters.  Like Moveon.org and other left wing shill outfits, they lie for their cause - they serve no other useful purpose.  And like the cannibalistic zombies of their sycophantic masters, they will eat their own should any have a stray thought of independence.

What does that article link have to do with media matters?  That is not a leading question - I do just not get how that article links to media matters - but then I don't really know the names of the people who run media matters.

Also not sure how an organisation that says it is out there to correct conservative misinformation could ever be described as competly unbiased

Oops!  As Maxwell Smart would say "missed it by that much!".  Thanks for the catch.  I was reading both articles and posted the wrong link.  The correct one is now in the story and here.

You just not have learned how to spin it yet.

But in a way, they are related to another story - how to take comments out of context for smear purposes.

They also do a pretty good job of creating their own misinformation.

No, that is all they do, which is evidenced by the Journolist revelation.  They take the truth and try to distort it.  In other words, they are a completely untrustworthy site for any type of attribution.
