I've come to the point of believing that no matter who we elect, no matter who is in charge, we will all, always find fault with them.  

I'm not trying to defend Obama or anything, just the office... we are all imperfect... the President is really no smarter than the normal man.  We all have decisions we have to make, so we make them to the love/hate of others...

How do you define ‘Safe Borders’, I’m having a hard time putting my finger on it? A border exists or it doesn’t. You can patrol your borders or not, but there is no such thing as a ‘safe border ‘other than as an oxymoron. Everyone knows the difficulty our southern states are facing on their borders, but the powers that be have decided to ignore that and concentrate in the Illegals themselves after they are here, at which point we cannot even ask them for ID.

M-Post, there is a big difference between finding fault in people and finding fault in everything someone does. We are after all just imperfect human beings with all that entails. Normal people make mistakes and then endeavor to correct them. But it is by design and intention when someone consistently makes the wrong choices. This is always the result of political correctness (another oxymoron) where common sense and practicality are deemed meaningless.

Personally, I do not fault the Illegal Immigrants for wanting more from life. I fault the American government for making it so easy and foolproof for them. I can only assume that living conditions must be very bad indeed wherever they hail from to brave all the shit they have to go through to get here. This problem is very easy to fix without doing much of anything to the Illegals here and that is to dry up the Illegal job market. Illegal Immigration has nothing to do with racism and everything to do with integrity and security.

Sorry M-Post, I missed your comment when you first posted.  I kind of agree with your first statement - but only in retrospect.  We can elect someone who will make a difference, but we have not done so lately.

Until we realized we can have the government we want - instead of settling for a government of fools, we will continue to get clowns like Obama.

I was strictly using the government's words.  There are degrees of safety.  No one would argue that things are quiet along the Canadian border - or that the border between France and Germany was not "safe' in 1939.
