Has a Silver Lining
Published on January 15, 2009 By Dr Guy In Politics

As they say, no good deed goes unpunished, or bad deed unrewarded.  It appears that not only did a lot of "evil rich" people get stuck when Madoff swindles $50b, but some organizations did as well.  And none more deserving of the swindle than Planned Parenthood.

While they only lost 20% (apparently) of their funds, at least it was a start.  And what are they doing investing donations in the first place?  Madoff was not a saving bank, but supposedly an investment firm.  Meaning long term (you put your money in and dont pull it out daily or weekly).  Apparently Planned parenthood is not only guilty of poor judgement (a common affliction for almost everyone at times), but of out right fraud on the donors!

As I would never donate to such a self centered and selfish organization, I will shed no crocodile tears for their loss (Perhaps a glass of champaign, but no tears).  But if I was into Eugenics and aborting babies, I would be very upset that my money was not going to further my goals, but to invest in ponzi schemes.

But then I might also be too embarrassed by my own gullibility and naivete' in donating to them in the first place to admit I gave anything to them.  SO I guess they are going to skate responsibility again.  But then responsibility and Planned Parenthood in the same sentence is an oxymoron.

LOL you have a point DR.... resposibility and planned parenthood is an oxymoron!

I hate that place..... they are what the left thinks of "sex ed".

They preach that teaching safe sex is the way to go yet, if you do have an opps.... just take a pill and bam your problem is solved

No, that is their public facade.  What they are is pro-abortionists.  They dont care if you take a pill, but if you get pregnant (as no method of birth control is 100% except abstinance - which they are against), there is only one choice for you - abortion.

The people that want to keep abortion as an "option" are wrong in my opinion, but not bad or evil.  Those that push abortion for abortions sake are evil.  Even going to the point of arguing, surreptitiously, for post partum abortions.

well without turing this into a pro or con on abortion in this I will state that I only support abortion in bad cases... like rape ect ect.... but in other words.... you open your legs or stick your pepe into it and create life... live with it.... and if you chose not to keep the bady for what ever reasons you may have, there are plenty of loving couples out there willing to take your newborn and raise it as their own.

Only if I can sit on my couch at home and answer the questions!

A lot of rich lefties (Steven Spielberg comes to mind) that the "evil rich" moniker doesn't seem to apply too, got caught up in that "good" deal. I don't think folks like him will miss it too much.

I bet it's so much easier at home than really being up there with Trebek.

Hey!  They did not get "caught", they just donated a large sum to a fellow who was in need!

I aint taking that bet!  I see some of the contestants get up there and look really dumb.  But they do have tough screening, so I know they are not.  Just cold feet in front of a camera!
