Unfortunate, and true.  Not the KKK type of hate or even the Skinhead type (that seems to be imported anyway).  But the lunatics of the left (tired disclaimer: Not all left or liberals are lunatics).  It seems the latest importer is Heather Mallick, some clown who has a column up above the 48th parallel.  And she just does no know how to have a calm rational discussion (or column apparently).  Not that it matters much, but it is sad to see people who live such miserable lives, that their only pleasure is to belittle and demean others.

She proceeded to write that the Alaska governor “has a toned-down version of the porn actress look favored by this decade’s woman, the overtreated hair, puffy lips and permanently alarmed expression.”

“What normal father would want Levi ‘I’m a f—-n’ redneck’ Johnson prodding his daughter?” Mallick asked.

“We love our own north to the point of covering our eyes and humming as it melts … but Alaska is different from our north,” she wrote. “We share a 1,500-mile border with a frontier state full of drunks and crazy people, of the blight that cheap-built structures bring to a glorious landscape.

“Alaska is our redneck cousin, our Yukon territory forms a blessed buffer zone, and thank God he never visits. Alaska is the end of the line.”

I fully understand the poltics of hate, have seen it up close and personal the last 16 years.  And I know it is fun to razz other states, with GOOD NATURED ribbing.  But why direct your anger at so many people just because you dont like one of them?

It makes you wonder if there is not something personal going on here.  Like maybe Levi jilted her?  I would not put it past her for this to be the case.  But then that would say volumes about Levi's good sense, and the lack of hers.
