No, based upon genetics, what that tells us is that Obama is more likely to die than McCain.  But neither is a guarantee.

When we all live in Eden and dont have to worry about evil men trying to do us evil.  Until such time, good men have to fight them, and some will suffer much more than the rest of us for it.

But that is really secondary to the issue you address.  The POW stuff was WHERE and WHEN he got his injuries,and is immatterial to the point at hand.  That he has the injuries is the issue.  FDR did not get wounded in war, but was a parapalegic.  And the question was "why cant" and the answer is "injuries". So why does it matter how he got them?

Right.  100 years ago, 70 was top end for life.  Today, most people are just starting to enjoy life at retirement!

And this age thing is going to hurt them with the most dedicated voters - the elderly.  Most of them do not want to be put out to pasture yet - they have a lot of living to do.

But that is the point.  You can die young, or old.  No one is guaranteed their life beyond today. 4 presidents died way before their time, and 3 almost did.

Somewhere around the time that the vicious liberals stop using it as a reason for people not to vote for him. you yourself said he did not know how to use a computer as reason not to vote for him. He can’t use a computer because of his injuries, yet he was able to father children, and successfully run for the senate, and now is running for the presidency. Sure you poke fun at him, we all do. That right there is a very interesting point. How is it that both Mccain and Obama are Senators yet somehow Obama believes McCain can not be president because he "doesn't know" how to email? So it does not take computer knowledge to be Senator but it does to be President? BTW, not knowing how to email and not being able to are 2 different things. Obama still owes McCain an apology for such a disrespectful comment.

That really is a big part of it.  The people talking about it are the liberals - trying to discredit him as they see it as an asset.  McCain is not running all over the country promoting his service the way Kerry did.  call it quiet confidence.  He does not need to, for unlike Kerry, his accomplishments speak for themselves, and others are talking about them.

Yes this was a VERY rare thing in his age.  The bottome line is that the presidency is a very aging job.  Look at clinton, look at bush they both looked not 8 years older but about 20 years older after(and for bush in the later times) their terms.  Plus his body has been pretty beaten up over life anyway so I highly doubt that he will live as long as his mom.

Male life expectancy in the US today is ~75 years.  Females are ~80 years.  Grabbed those from Wikipedia...so as always take it with a grain of salt...but I'm pretty sure that's in the right ballpark.
