Freedom Lost
Published on August 19, 2008 By Dr Guy In Current Events

Say what you will, alive or dead, Bin Laden has won.  In what can only be termed a capitulation to terrorism, Random House has pulled a book because it was not according to the Koran.

The real sad part is all the people that have lost their lives to defend the spineless mealy mouthed losers who made the decision.  It may be the last free decision they are capable of making.

Will they start pulling books because they violate the Bible? If so, I have a list.

It is because Christian's do not burn down the publishing house. You're not thinking of rioting are you?

I hope to hell not, but with the "equal abrogation of rights" that some seem to think makes things "fair", I would not be surprised.

Yea, I think they use their belly button for a periscope.

Bit by bit, item by item.  How many newspapers ran the Danish comics?  When was the last time you saw a cartoon slamming christianity (my answer: Last week).

It is not an invasion and subjugation like in 39 Poland.  It is simply paying protection money to the terrorists.  And the "money" is our freedoms.  Ben Franklin was surely right.

Yes but there are still alot of folks who want to fight them, and the left who are trying to commit cultural suicide.

Though I do understand the frustration with seeing christian bashing cartoons and not muslim ones.  I have voice such concerns as well.

Oh, I dont think everyone has surrendered.  But too many have.  You cant effectively fight a war if half your population has no heart or stomach for it.

Tell that to our founding fathers! A very large percentage of our country during the revolution did not particapate. about one third of the poulation didnt care about it, and I m talking free men here. not even a majority of the people actively supported the cause either.

Tell that to our founding fathers!

And another portion were Tories.  But the ones that did not care, did not undermine those who did.  It is one thing to not care.  It is another to actively seek the defeat of your own side because you fear for your life.  This is clearly an indication of the latter.

Sorry a bit out of touch due to my current situation, what book have they pulled?

No, its the action of people that dont want any trouble, which makes em on the sideline.

By actively accepting the will of terrorists, they are not sitting on the sideline.  They have capitulated and become the Vichy of America.

So then, the third of the US that didnt take sides during the Revolution when ever they just did as the British tell to did as well.... and that was often.
