There is some skepticism about there being a liberal bent in the Main Stream Media. Especially from those who think John Kerry is not liberal enough. But the story out of Massachusetts will make all but the most extreme leftist realize - there is fire under that smoke.
If you do not know the name of James Fagan, you will soon. He is a lawyer and a lawmaker in Boston. Probably a pretty good one. And he does not like Jessica's Law. Unlike Megan's law, this one deals with pedophiles and mandatory jail time. And Rep Fagan has gone on record as being against it.
Going so far as to state he would "rip apart" any child put on the stand as a witness against a charged child molester. Which is usually the mark of a good lawyer. And the reason most people do not have any respect for them (until they need them).
But read the story. And then show me what party he belongs to.
A fellow lawmaker, Rep Karyn Polito, who supports Jessica's law, spoke out against Rep Fagan's statement. Can you find out which party she belongs to? It is not hard as it is stated right after her name.
But the party of Fagan is never mentioned. And while his stand is principled with respect to his profession, it clearly is not going to be or is a popular one. Yet the media chose to hide his party affiliation.
Sure you can Google it. But how many reading the paper are going to run to the computer and do that? Some yes, most no.
And so the media hides the affiliation when it will taint their heroes.
And people argue that there is no bias. Want to buy a bridge in Brooklyn?
