Debate, and discuss, just dont Bore me.
He is the worst of the worst
Published on June 10, 2008 By Dr Guy In Democrat

Our (non) illustrious governor has once again shown his duplicity.  Sacrafice a child, but spare that murderer!

Sounds strange coming from me.  Actually it kind of is.  I am glad he commuted the sentence of the death row inmate.  But his duplicity has got my stomach in a knot!  For those of you that have read my comments, you know I am firmly against Abortion - and the death penalty.

But over my tenure at JU, I have gotten to know, through their writings and beliefs, many who support abortion, although all grudgingly.  They see it as a necessary evil, one they do not want to experience, but one they believe is necessary in some instances.  Their reasoning is as much a matter of faith, or belief as mine.  I have come to respect many of those people.  We know we will never agree, but I think through at least our discussions on the subject, gain a greater understanding, and in some cases at least respect, for our opposing view points.

I know that my viewpoint will not be accepted by one and all, and I accept that as well.  But for those who listen and at least respect my viewpoint, I can offer the same in kind.

And of course the mythos of the conservative is that we want to preserve the unborn, and kill the born.  That is true of a lot of conservatives.  Their reasoning is that one is innocent, the other guilty of capital crimes.  And they are slammed by the liberals for their hypocrasy.  It may be.  But I have learned that each must listen to their own conscious, and do what is right with themselves.

Then there is the other side.  Those who believe in abortion, but not in the death penalty.  Again, many of them are honorable people, and their conscious dictates that they must believe so, because abortion is not killing a person, but the death penalty does.  Their is honor in that position, even if I will never agree.

Then there are the scum.  These are the people that believe abortion is murder, as is the death penalty.  yet they support the former (for expediency no doubt) and oppose the latter.  They beleive that life begins at conception, but what the hey!  Pre-partum people dont vote, so kill the suckers!  but perhaps that slimeball who wiped out 3 people on a whim - may one day!  and vote for them!  because they spared his miserable life!

They are scum.  they are worse than murderers as they are responsible for more murders than any serial killer.  And they know it.  And our illustrious governor is one of them.  the worst kind of person.  The one that only values life in how many votes it gets them.

Some praise him for taking a "noble stand" (in oppositin to his beliefs).  I scorn and think he is a pathetic imbecile - who is worse than scum.  According to his beliefs, he kills the innocents, and spares the guilty.

He is garbage. And I hope Obama takes him to the cesspool of DC with the rest of the garbage.

You're right, that is the worst scum.  No backbone, no values whatsoever, just a purely political person whose only stance is based on votes.  The very kind of person our system was supposed to stop before they even got started... unfortunately, too many voters are the same bit of scum.

Only thinking of self, not others. Yep, that is this clown. Not a king thankfully (one house is still controlled by Republicans), but he sure wants to be.

I hope Obama takes him. The fool.

Well, at least that was total nonsense.  But for the slow learner, once again.

I thought felons lost the priviledge of voting.  Am I right?

That being said I am against the death penalty because the system is imperfect and I believe there have been innocent people killed by the state.

As for your Governor, what to say.  Most politicians are better at keeping their agenda hidden.  Sadly, I think there are very few Mr. Smith's serving our government now.

They can apply for re-instatement (in most states, this one I know).

Take him? Nah! Texas is too nice for the likes of him.
