Almost 2 months after Granny took out my vehicle, I found my almost perfect car (thanks to Karma it only has 2 faults - not black and does not run on Water).
For those of you not reading me often, a nice granny in a Lincoln Continental decided to make a left hand turn into a parking lot just as I was passing the entrance. Needless to say, a toyota truck is no match for a tank, and my truck lost. After a month of fighting with her insurance company, I got the settlement, and started looking for what I WANT, and found my precious! (Gollum, Gollum!)
It was supposed to be here today. Sadly it is sitting on the dock waiting for some nice trucker to hitch up and bring it 90 miles west! And if it does not get picked up today, then it will not be until Tuesday! (I will gladly pay you tuesday for a hamburger today.......).
Mason, if you are in the neighborhood, can you park your load and pick up a bunch of Toyotas headed for me? I would be forever grateful!
The dealer said the delivery was between May 17-24, so I planned on today. Just so I would not wait in expectation. Stupid me!
I want my wants when I want them! If I dont get it, I am going to hold my breath until I do!
Oh well, considering the deal, the dealer has been very nice. (got snippy when I played him off another one, but then came down another $550 on the price). I guess they like selling the VEE-HIC-els off the boat.
Ah to be a new car owner once again! Please Mr. Postman (er, I mean trucker), bring me a truck todaaaaaayyyyy!
(ok, enough of the sour singing. Carry on.)
