Debate, and discuss, just dont Bore me.

Actually the title is not really a good one, but then this is just an ongoing issue with me.

It seems that Barbara Boxer, a senator that has nothing in common with me, the right or Bush, has decided that since CAIR cannot condemn terrorism of its "peaceful" people, then she cannot honor them.  Well, even a broken clock is right twice a day.

I guess she is no longer a buffoon, just a broken clock.  And a bigot as well. In some eyes.

The only thing that can mean is that she has promised CAIR something.

And it will probably come back to bite us.

Taking back an award is an act of courage. Her office made a mistake, she fixed it, she talked with the offending party, and yet, stuck by her guns. Sounds pretty authentic to me.

Did not say it was not. Most likely just politics, but as I said, even a broken clock is right twice a day.

You have to wonder how many Dems have fallen into the same pit as CAIR, though. When you have Barney Frank accusing Bush of 'genocide', I have a hard time thinking this is much more than damage control on her part. Wasn't Ellison the beneficiary of fundraisers held by CAIR? If I'm not mistaken Ellison has personal acquaintance with the guy.

This is just the usual bull, imho. These people stand and cheer for people who make hate a lifestyle. Just because she decided this was more bad press than she needed doesn't mean she wouldn't wake up bedraggled beside them if the benefit outweighed the cost.

Knowing Boxer, that is probably right on the money.
