Debate, and discuss, just dont Bore me.

Back in the day (yea before the time of Terpfan1980), I came of voting age.  Around 1974.  For the younguns, that means nothing.  For my dear Grandmother, that meant a lot (I was the chosen one since I came back from Germany on the day Nixon resigned - a man she hated).

But I was now of age.  A man (in those days old enough to drink and vote).  And so my first real president was Ford.  And I liked him (I never thought he was great, but he was a nice guy).  And soon after my return from that far away land that we had conquered almost 30 years earlier, I started following politics.  And Ford Pardoned Nixon.  And I thought it was good.  It got the whole Vietnam thing behind us as well as Watergate.  Time to move on!

But the pundits of the MSM thought differently!  They reviled him!  They ridiculed him!  They did everything BUT hang him in person.  And stated, unequivocally, he was the worst thing since sliced bologna.  Almost to this day (and the only reason it was not to this day was because half of them are dead and the other half are dottering old fools), they reviled him and stated that he was stupid, weak and it was a {shock for you newbies} conspiracy!

And yet, today we buried that nice old man.  That man who did not seek the office, but ran it.  The man who was exactly what I thought he was.  A caretaker and a healer.  And guess what?  In my stupid youth where I don't know crap from shinola, the new brain dead MSM is saying the same thing. WOW!

I am shocked!  NOT!

I said 30 years ago that the best thing for this nation was the pardon.  Nixon was gone.  Time to get over it.  It took the dullards of the MSM 30 years to finally agree with me.  And America a lot less time.

Is it any wonder that no one listens (or just the mind numbed sycophants of du.org) to them any more?  Not hardly.  Not when the average citizen is telling them what is news, and they take 30 years to report it or even to acknowledge it.

Hats off to the morons of the MSM!  They are only 30 years too slow.
