According to the Census bureau, tomorrow, the 300 millionth American will be born/Emigrated to this Country.  300 Million!  Of all developed nations, the US is growing the fastest.  And that does include India and China (as a rate, not of the number of people).

And according to that government institution, by 2050, we will almost be a country with a majority of Minorities.  I say Great!

Why?  Because I believe in the American Dream.  I believe that anyone, black, red, yellow, brown or white, can suceed.  On their own.  And I am tired of this mentality that pervades many institutions and people that "some people are more equal than others", i.e. Affirmative action.  It is so Animal farm as to be laughable, but the sad part is they dont even realize their hypocrasy, or the parallel.

In 2050, if I am still alive, I will celebrate the fact that there is no majority, and that we are all minorities.  And now, we are all equal once again.  AA had its use at one time.  That time has long since passed.  But like all things government, dead programs, long after the eulogy has been spoken, remain government programs.  So in 44 years, EVERYONE will be able to claim minority status, and get equal rights.

And I like that.
