I thought Nemesis was a very good one, but it bombed at the box office.  So yea, maybe they did not see it.

Actually, Insurrection did well.  I liked Nemesis better tho, and was sad to see it bomb.

Crazy laughter errupting suddenly out of Trudy....heehehee,  see how much I know??!  I didn't know that those movies crashed and burned!!  I loved Nemesis! AND... My son says:

"In general I thought the movie was alright, however I hated the ending when they killed off Data because fans of the tv series know that in the two part series finale when Picard was jumping between three different time periods we saw Data still friends with Picard after Picard had retired from Starfleet and was tending the family vineyard.  I believe that was about twenty years in the future,  which would be a pretty major continuity error."

Your son.  KEEP HIM!  I had not thought of that angle, but I think that would be explained by B4.  They will do a memory dump or something to make him Data for the future.  I saw that in nemesis.  Or maybe even grab the head from the 19th century San Francisco and plant it on B4, since his Positronic brain was too immature.
